vaping it right now.. Over two years since I got the tank... Still a favorite, just works so well and it's so tough, it's hard to beat the vape from it.. I'm going to add the v4 to my line-up soon. I believe it has the biggest air flow out the box.. I have a v2 and v3 drilled to about 3mm.

I like the side air flow better than bottom air, just a smoother draw, more like a dripper.
Where are you going to purchase the v4? I still haven't pulled the trigger yet on the v3. Maybe I'll just go for the v4.

Hey aal, hope things are going well. We haven't heard much about Greece lately in the states, with all the political stuff here.. I was really glad to see the brexit vote go through.. I was pulling for them.. I'm sure Greece isn't too fond of the Eu.
Hey man, lol not too fond at all, but I doubt we can do better alone like the brits are planning to. We have way more corruption.

They carry this at my local Walgreens and I think I'm about out of Melatonin anyway. I'm gonna pop in, pick some up and give it a whirl next time I drive by there. The absolute cheapest source of rayon is that source that includes it incidentally to something you would purchase regardless. The older I get, the more trouble I have getting to sleep. Melatonin helps and is a preferable alternative to prescriptions or other over the counter sleep aids, so, rayon or not, I would be getting some anyway. It's a win/win.

BTW, this Limitless RDTA is blowing everything else I have away. It's not even close. I thought that how fast it goes through 4ml would preclude my using it as my #1 all day unit, but, since I DIY and filling it is so quick and stupid easy, I'm walking that back. The performance to trouble ratio trade off isn't even worthy of consideration. The Limitless rocks. If you've been considering getting one, just do it. You'll thank me later.
I agree 100% I don't use it as I can sleep through anything lol thankfully the wife noticed it and she doesn't even Vape.... She buys it at Walmart so good to know Walgreens has it too.

For no real reason that I can think of, I have been using cotton for the last couple of months. Dumb considering I have enough Sally's rayon to last me multiple lifetimes.

In any case, I have been having wicking issues with my Kayfuns recently (dry hits mainly) and decided to rewick with rayon. All 3 builds are vaping perfectly. Time to pack the Cotton Bacon away for a rainy day.:)

I really like that I can literally cram a coil full of rayon knowing it will shrink a bit and be perfect. Soooo much easier than cotton from that respect. As far as taste goes, I honestly don't notice much of a difference between rayon and cotton.

Thank you Sally.:D

I was given a couple of packs of Cotton Bacon V2 at a recent expo, and I must say it is very good cotton. To me the flavor is almost as good as rayon, only slightly muted. The big difference was nic hit. I'm down to 3mg nic and with Cotton Bacon, as well as other quality cottons, it tastes like I'm vaping 0mg. I was going through more juice and still not feeling satisfied. The packaging is very convenient though.

V3 clone has 3mm air hole, the original has 2,5mm.
V4 clone is 3mm, original is also 3mm.

Are you going to get the one on Focalecig? Just wanted to know if it meets your approval.

Yes, It is the v4 clone to get its a perfect copy of the original Fev V4 The nice thing with the Fev is its so simple it's easy to clone. I use 300 mesh for feeder straws. 250-350 is fine. I recently saw a German do a different style feeder wick I may try soon with Rayon, wrapped like mesh with a hole in middle. But mesh works the best currently for most of us.

If you use the FeV V3 without an air screw and can't stand the whistle. I fixed that issue by putting in a loop of 28g Unkamen SS430, it is quite springy and works perfectly.

With the base away from the FeV wrap a piece of wire around it just above the o-rings. Twist the ends together snugging it up to the base but not too tight. Slide the hoop off the base and trim the end off leaving a 5mm tail.

Now what you are going to do is bend the tail perpendicular to the hoop and slide the hoop up inside the chamber of the FeV. Slide the hoop inside the chamber till it hits the top and try to keep the tail in the center of the air hole. Bend and adjust as required to form the hoop around the flat spot where the air screw goes.

I try to put the end of the tail in the air hole to help keep the hoop in position, this tail breaks the edge of the hole that causes the whistle. It is a quick and dirty fix, I wanted something that would not come loose and go up the chimney by accident. :)

YMMV and adjust as you see fit.
