innokin are usually good quality and the new Coolfire IV TC 18650 takes a battery instead of a built in lipo.

Not to hijack the thread from rayon, but I almost bought a Platinum KBox before a good friend offered me the choice between a TNT 80 with two batteries, or a Jellyfish, either for $40. I only ask in here because y'all have been giving me such good, and quick, input. Thoughts?
The Eleaf Pico uses 1 18650 battery & is small but efficient for $30 or less, do a goggle search.

Heard Kangertech's mods aren't the most reliable that being said I brought the Kanger Dripbox you mentioned because I was interested in squonking being it was only $19 at the time it was cheap enough to try. But I wouldn't recommend depending on it for your only mod. Just something to play with.

May well be, but good business people break policies all the time to keep good customers. It never hurts to negotiate. As you know, in the Vape business the consumer has plenty of other options.

Quite so, worst they can do is stick to their policy. And we are certainly free to put our $$ where we want. Getting upset because someone won't break their stated rules just isn't something I do. :)

Well, thanks to JeremyR and PaulBHC, I've managed to improve my wicks pretty consistently. However, my Subox electronics just fried, for reasons unknown, so I'll be in the market for something new. Hopefully something better, as well; between issues with the 510 pin getting pushed down all the time, and the fact that it fried after only 6 months of use, I'm displeased with this mod. I took it apart to try and diagnose the problem, and was reminded of just how cheaply put together it was. I had my eye on a Kanger Dripbox for awhile, and I love the idea of a squonker, but this experience may have put me off of Kangertech for good...

Hey sniper

Kanger products are chinsy, my buddy almost got the platinum, probably their best mod offering. But it was sold out and he wanted an internal battery anyway. He got a wood grain istick 50w Instead from wov. He went almost two weeks on a charge.

Any of the vendors listed are good. I had no problem with 101. Actually haven't really had problems with anyone I ordered from.. Eciggity is a great shop too. Realize we deal with cheap Chinese goods and there are issues and the shops have to eat it many times, also a lot of their returns are user error so they have to tighten their return policies, imo.

Most of us could just buy a Provari or two and be done with it but what's the fun in that?

We used to spend $400-500 a month on cigs whether we could afford it or not. But I can't bring myself to spend $200 on a mod that will surely last longer than $200 worth of ciggys.

I second the iStick Pico Kit as a good choice. I bought the hot pink one for my wife and it works great. For ~$30, it might be the best value on the market today. The 2ml Melo 3 Mini tank that comes with the kit works great too for a short run grab-n-go.

Do you know if the Vaporesso cCell coils work in the Melo 3 Mini or not?

Provari is always overpriced with outdated tech. I used a zmax, better than Provari and only 40.00. Lol.. no pinkys here.

I thought I put one in it, but it had been so long since I had it apart I had to go look. In the process, I remembered something I didn't like about it. How it comes apart was a little confusing, so, naturally, I went insane with a pair of pliers and broke the glass only to re-discover it's really simple. I was too smart for it by half. The long and short of it was that it still had the original coil in it and still working great, but I can't see any reason why the cCells wouldn't work when comparing the coils side-by-side.

Now, excuse me while I go concoct a story to feed my wife explaining how her tank got broken, before she gets home. I'm thinking of going with the simple "Well, hmmm, that's weird..." line of defense.

I've become a bit slack about changing my coils and wicks.
I use a .21ohm Ti twisted coil, 3mm I.D and a rayon wick .
It's been in the rda since Feb, and the wick has been changed twice in that time, the coil cleaned at the same time.
It still works great, I'm happy with the flavor and clouds.

Not upset at all, someone asked, I responded with my experience and opinion.

Problem solved...okay, not quite solved, but it will make her easier to live with while I wait for the replacement glass to come in. I went and got her a new Samsung Galaxy S7...better than flowers...
