I thought I put one in it, but it had been so long since I had it apart I had to go look. In the process, I remembered something I didn't like about it. How it comes apart was a little confusing, so, naturally, I went insane with a pair of pliers and broke the glass only to re-discover it's really simple. I was too smart for it by half. The long and short of it was that it still had the original coil in it and still working great, but I can't see any reason why the cCells wouldn't work when comparing the coils side-by-side.

Now, excuse me while I go concoct a story to feed my wife explaining how her tank got broken, before she gets home. I'm thinking of going with the simple "Well, hmmm, that's weird..." line of defense.

Crap, Bro... I didn't mean for you to go gettin' yourself in trouble to answer a question. 'Course, you could always blame me... I'm pretty sure that she's not gonna come take it out on me....... well.... pretty sure...


Thanks for all the responses, everyone! That's awesome news. I have a friend who just got a Pico and the Melo 3, and I told her that I thought the cCells would work in it. Good to know that I didn't steer her wrong.

HA! I got my wife a blender for Christmas... she actually LOVED it! Of course, it was one of those super Ninja kinda blenders, and she'd been asking for one for quite a while... not gonna risk a vacuum cleaner, though... that's just asking for trouble!

Oh Jeremy of Rayon, that is one opinion, for sure. I happen to love the "outdated" tech. It works marvelously,,, always has, always will.

as we raised our son,, i told him to never buy a woman something that plugs in for a gift unless she really wants it.........ie,, my computer stuff is great,,,,,,,,,a blender is not.......ditto on bath robes/slippers.--she needs to pick those out..(no, i dont want walk around with big rabbit ears on my feet

Pico and a Goblin Mini V2 or Merlin are great combos as well.

Yep, but she's pretty new to building (only ever built on a Magma, I believe). Her mod died, and she was gifted a Pico with the Melo 3 Mini... I was just pointing her to some better coil heads. Those Vaporesso cCells are tough to beat.

I did get her set up with the Magma and a bunch of rayon, though... she's been running that for a while now.

Brother, I SWORE that I'd never use another atty that used coil heads. Then I won the Target kit in a contest... One tank, and I was hooked... but $15 for a 5-pack, and the heads last at least a month each, so not too bad. I just can't get away from it, though... my recommendation? Stay far, far away from the cCells... they are awesome, and you'll have a hard time walking away from them.

Well, the Melo 3 Mini, apparently... the Vaporesso Target tank, the new Target Pro tank, the Tobecco Super Tank, Aspire Atlantis... and basically anything that will also use the Atlantis coils.

I'm thinking about getting an Mvape M1 because apparently you can use cCells in it... and it's a 10mL tank!

uh no,,w/o my contacts i would be trying to feed/find them...it reminds me of the time i was putting away my son's clean laundry,, i swore i saw something move.....on the next trip into his room again i swore i saw something move.........so i prepare to fight back thinking a field rat made it into the house......eeeeww,, i start looking under the bed and i find a box of baby rabbits and the 'free rabbits'.. they are all doing great--so i wait for the boy to come home from school.............hey Mark,, wanna tell me about the rabbits? he laughs (6'1 @ 145lbs with all of his football gear on).. he says he needs the rabbits,, its the easiest way to get girls to talk to him. he was taking the rabbits to school in his pockets,, and yes he pulled one out of a pocket.......the 'daily rabbit rotation'

he is now 6'2 @ 220 Marine Sgt........no problem getting girls.

Yeah, won't fit on the Pico, but I was thinking about putting it on a Sigelei Fuchai 213...
And yes, they have 0.2Ω Nickel, 0.5Ω SS, and 0.9Ω Kanthal... haven't tried the SS yet, but the Kanthal ones are awesome at around 30-40W
