You're absolutely right about the small chamber thing.
I use drippers for testing my juice blends but other than that, I'm rta all the way.
I like small chambers and short chimneys.

The chamber is so big on the Cthulhu, if you don't stuff the deck, it's pretty bland.
But with 10 wraps of fused clapton, it starts to buck a little. =)

Sorry, folks. I'm just trying to figure out how to get my Dropbox to cooperate with posting images here.

I think I have it figured out.

In an effort to get Honey to say those magical words - "You think you're funny, but you're not!" - I tried to convince her that this would be the ultimate setup to replace her Subtank Nano Toptank:

It worked! I'm blessed.

BTW, photo taken with my new Note 7. I haven't figured out how to use it yet though. This thing has more bells and whistles than this old dog expected.
Yay!!! Your phone came  looking forward to when u figure the phone out!
Bahaha:lol: you are funny!

Yep, I'm a fan of the stubby tanks, too. And really short RDAs. Really, anything with a small chamber, because they just have better flavor. ;)

I'll be sure to get some pics whenever I get it and get a build in it. It may take a little trial and error to get it all figured out, but I'm not expecting too many problems with it.
Looking forward to it!

She's smarter than that. She knows which side of the hand is buttering her bread twice in the bush...or something like that.

LMFAO!! I am not even gonna comment on which direction my mind went with that comment....:rolleyes:

The TFV8 rba is rock'n pretty hard on rayon. 20g Ti, 10/9 wrap, 3mm, micro-spaced.

I was going to get one of those, but I seen so many people whining about this and that and nitpicking stuff (leaking) that sounded like it could be user error (to me), I thought I would hold off a while to see if some kind of consensus developed.

It doesn't leak when on its side if the wicktails are thick enough in the channels but then it won't vape at 175w that way either. Mine will leak when on its side because I thinned the tails for high power but I never lay it down. It's just tank dynamics/physics and can't be avoided if you're going for broke, tweaking for highest power levels.

The post screw sockets do strip out easy using the crappy allen wrench provided though.

I put a dual 22g 9 wrap on 3mm in the L+ last night and I am really enjoying the vape at 100W. I looked, but didn't have any 20g, so the 22g will do. :D

Also yanked out that Texas Tuff Cotton stuff and put good old Sally's back in, 100x better than the Cotton.

You may have found the perfect awg Ti for the L+ @TrollDragon . 24g Ti seems a bit narrow in cross section and 20g a bit thick for the seemingly optimum power for the L+ (100w).

Whoops, noticed you didn't actually say that you were using Ti.

I picked up a halfway decent set of hex screwdrivers off Amazon a little while back, very happy with them :)

https://www.amazon.com/Wiha-26390-Screwdriver-Metric-Precision/dp/B0006OBFCC

Best $30 I've spent on tools.
People always complained about stripping Griffin screws and I've used these on them for months and still haven't stripped them.
I replaced them a week or two ago with some grade h45 screws from fastenal...I'd highly recommend getting a handful. Much stronger than anything I've seen in a rebuildable.

I have a similar set in metric torx and they are really great. These are on my wish list now and next time I order anything from Amazon they'll be in the order.

Sorry it's a Kanthal build. The only Ti I have is Unkamen 28g & 26g. I could twist up some 28g to equal the diameter, but it wouldn't be the same as a single 22g coil.

I got the same set. Picked up some cheaper ace hardware precision flat/philips sets and a tiny precision cell phone repair with tiny torx bits for working on the mod boxes as well.
