Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

As a NET user, I can see this making a big difference. :D
As a net user you have probably already figured out that they're evil wick cloggers and coil gunkers...lol.
Count on getting about double the wick life with Rayon vs. Cotton. It's not unusual for me to go 40ml between dryburns with my diy nets.

Your welcome Rick. It helps tremendously.

You best bet if you really want to extend your life with nets - is to reduce the net concentration by adding nic base. If it were me, when I started using Rayon I would cut the net by 25-30%. With rayons increase in flavor purity you can get away with it and still have good taste.

Try it out if you want to double your coil life before maintenance, once again.

Another key to the longest lasting setup is using the minimum amount of flavoring to produce a good taste... Realize it will take a day for your buds to adjust but then you'll be like this is still good.

I find excess flavoring to be a crutch of juices, and even possibly vaping in general. Excess flavoring can cause various issues besides what it does in your atty - like flavor burn out, vapors tongue, and taste bud over sensitization. Some artificials may not be great in large amounts in the lungs, I postulate.

So I come to the forum today and what do I see, rayon haters are still at it!

Some guy who I wouldn't take seriously is all bashing me and you guys and everything we've done.. I guess I'll have to strike back against his assertions. They were successful in stifling a new rayon user back to cotton.

Im going to post my response here.. It's gonna be a ringer. Should be entertaining.

It's been a while since I've had to do this.. You guys ready, it's about to get serious in here, I have to be tough on this...
.

Sending up the rayon symbol, surprised I wasn't called in on this.

Sitting down, facing forward.
There's an old saying, Jeremy, "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him take a bath". If people make their minds up based on bad, misleading and false information and are convinced they are right because they know the "truth" you're just tilting at windmills.

I make my own and am still experimenting as to what % is needed (for my taste) for each of the different extracts. I generally use around 10%. A few are a little strong at that level (and I may dilute them at some point) and a few are a little weak at that level (but they make for a great evening vape when I want something lighter).

I vape the NET's almost exclusively now so I'm not concerned about what little flavoring (caramel, vanilla, apricot, etc.) I may add to them.

Thanks again for your help.

That's amazing for NET's! What micron filter paper are you using?

The guy is some unknown with 300 posts, who acts like he's speaking for all those who are against rayon.. Lol. He obviously isn't around much.

It's just been a long time since I saw the old played out chemical line we've heard since the beginning... I do however bring up a point about it that I haven't before

I will post his "preposterous" comment and my reply. It's locked and loaded waiting for the right time to drop it.

So much of this opinionated chatter in the entire vaping community. Everyone is an adult (or should be). It's enough that we have to defend vaping in the wider community, we should not have to defend a choice of what works for us.

Rayon opened so many vaping doors for me and it bugs me that I feel like I need to explain. I hit a five year anniversary last week so I feel more than able to judge rayon on its merits to me.

Arrrrrrrg and good morning. :p

Well said and so true. There is a much bigger battle to fight, why not let people use what works for them?? I still use cotton in some toppers, but rayon is winning more and more. Always in rebuildable tanks. Still using cotton in clearos mostly becaise I have so much and I hate waste...

    It's detailed in post 4 or 5.

If your lazy like me and don't want to mess with rewick and coiling.

All you do is wet the coil with juice and wipe it off. You can do this many, many times. Depending if, and how, accessible the coil is.

To get the full potential, you have to develop a balance in your vaping system. Between power, air flow, draw strength, wire gage, amount of juice feeding from tank, density of wick, and trimming on tails.

Heat retention will also bake the juice on the coil after your vape. I always practice a cool down finish on my vape. Meaning let off the power a second before you stop your vape. Utilize that built up heat for vapor instead of carmelizing your juice when you set it down. The heavier the coil the longer it will retain heat. If you hear a lot of sizzling after your vape you know its still too hot and will caramelize.

    Thank you. Great information!

Cotton?! Sacrilege!.... lol....just kidding. You're right, we shouldn't be wasting time blasting on each other for our choices in vaping or anything in life. There are richer rewards with encouragement and education than with oppression. Still, there are those out there that will never get that and will continue to be misguided mouthpieces echoing misconceptions in the most harsh ways.
Meanwhile there are some like Jeremy who have spent untold hours researching the health risks of vaping with Rayon and who has never pushed it on people as far as I've read. He just puts the research out there and lets folks decide for themselves whether or not to use it; just as it should be.

    Many thanks to Jeremy:toast:
