Self control canno. Self control.

But they also got me wanting a new atty!. To my credit the last atty I bought was over a year ago.. I haven't got any of the new generation atties over the last year, probably because Rayon made my vape so good I have been happy with what I got.

But there is some nice stuff out there now to try.

Maybe try the new Kronos clone since you like the FEV so much.

Alright you yokels, you've got me wanting another tank. Knock it off.

This group is the worst about that... frackin' enablers...

If I remember correctly, Cindy is why I bought my first Orchid, Awsum140 is why I now own an Invader Mini, Troll is the reason I now own a Silver Play V2, Jeremy is why I now use only rayon and mostly build big .... spaced coils... I've got titanium wire on the way, and there's this little itch in the back of my brain that keeps telling me that I need to order some ss430... if it weren't for what little self control I DO have, there's no telling what all I'd find in my vape closet...

There's just too many choices. I need to look at it like Jeremy has been. My stuff is working pretty good and tasting better than ever but all this talk still makes me want to look.

I've been looking a lot lately, but (luckily) I don't have it in my budget to get anything else right now. And I figure the longer I wait, the cheaper I can get what I want as new stuff comes out... Or I'll end up getting something even better.

I'm the same. I don't have much of a vaping budget and any purchase I make I think about for a long time but I'm always looking. I've been looking at tanks for a while now. Up until very recently I'd never used a tank but I happened to win an isub apex and I actually like it a lot better than I thought I would but would like something I can rebuild because replaceable coils are expensive. I've been checking out the aromamizer because I love the two post build deck on it. It would almost be ther perfect tank if only it was top fill like the apex. I actually really like the apex but wish it had a two post deck. Seems all the tanks I've looked at only have most of what I'm looking for but not everything and if I'm going to spend the money I want to find one just right first. Maybe I shouldn't be so picky but it saves me a lot of money. If I ordered everything I liked/wanted to try I'd have a big box full of mods and atties and be flat broke. lol

Just get one and join the club, looks much easier to wick than your STM or Lemo... :D

The aromizer and squape are getting me interested. I may be ready for a change up.

So on that squape shouldnt the W deck really be an R for Rayon. They already have C for cotton. And we all know Rayon is the wide "cotton". ;)
hahaha "C" is for Curved. It sucks!
The "B" deck is really similar to Taifun or your Flashi, and there's also a "D" deck for dual coil. "S" is for standard (mesh wick). I've only ever used the "W" deck, but really need to get a "B" deck soon. "W" and "B" decks are also available in ceramic.

I did try the Kronos on Monday. Looks nice.
Fully open the draw is maybe a little looser then on the FeV clone without airscrew, but not by much.
I expected it to be more airy, but it's still a nice draw. I'll prolly order a clone.

So I think I might have a minor allergy to Rayon.. My throat was feeling itchy like I had breathed in insulation.. Switched back to cotton and today my throat and mouth is back to feeling normal.. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Never had that happen. One thing that can happen which might be an alternate explanation is if the rayon gets loose from shrinking and the little bit of juice on the coil overheats each hit, even without really tasting it you can get some nasty byproducts that are irritating to membranes.

I think I am finally coming out of my coil building rut. I could not build a coil to save my life the day before yesterday! Lol I have given away so many of my smoktech bottom coil replacement coils (the same kind the kanger evod tanks take) to help others that I am in desperate need of getting more! I like to rebuild them with rayon in place of that factory wicking :)

Its like being in a cloud competition. Your not use to the increase in potentcy.

Its like your actually vaping for the first time. You have to adjust to the different vapor.

Read this article from A reputable flavor company.

Rayon wick, possible side effects and causes. - FlavourArt UK

Most effects are related to the 30% increase in vapor components, namely Nicotine increase. Its like you vaped a tone..

This is most likely your problem -
*******

A loose wick will cause a dry vapor, similar to the vape with siilica. Cotton would burn in these conditions Rayon doesn't!. I did a test myself with a loose wick and its causes a sorish throat from the dry vapor from an overheating coil.... The difference is you wouldn't be vaping cotton at these temps because it would burn!!!!!

********

To the concern of allergy-

Alternatively-

To have an actual allergy to cellulose is not possible. If you got a piece with some salts left on it you could be sensitive to that but it's very rare. And it would be a very small amount that would be flushed from the Wick in a short time. Your piece would have more of an off taste too.

The salt that can be left from poor washing, or poor quality rayon is harmless Sodium Sulfate.

Sodium sulfate is in many foods, naturally occuring, and also added to many foods as a preservative.

For comparison -
Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate.

If you have a confirmed food allergy to sulfites then to be safe you may want to rinse the lower grades like Sally's to avoid.... To see if you do have an allergy review this article.
