Quickie Aromamizer Lite build.

My standard coil, 2.5mm ID twisted 26awg kanthal, 5 wraps

I install on the upper post holes, trim the excess off the coil legs

Tight rayon wick, trim the length to match the outer edge of the base ring. My meter has the same diameter. Trim 30% off the top of the legs

Split the tails, so they're easier to put on top of the four small juice holes at the bottom of the deck

Stuff the wicks into the deck - paperclip or the end of the coil winder jig works well. Thoroughly wet the wick before putting the tank together

Turn the juice control (knurled ring just below the glass) all the way off before filling. When refilling I believe I've read to turn the tank upside down before turning it off. I didn't do this once, the tank dump was awesome :)

You mean you're still using this build above right? Can you see your rayon wick through the jfc holes?

@Heartsdelight - here's where I have the coil placed in my supreme lite

The tails from the wick are split and cover all 4 liquid inlets. The tails are "sloppy", I don't trim them all that much, I know they could be cut back more.

Thanks! It's higher than mine it looks like the top of the coil lines up with the top of the posts. How are the rayon wicks? I'm going to try again tomorrow.

I tried a single twisted 28g ss316l coil 8 wraps using the single coil adapter. It worked without whistling after I raised the coil up high like yours just the traditional horizontal but it's kinda whistling again & strangely dry hitting even on temp control, my wicks are pretty thinned.

I'm going to make my coils like yours. Just curious about your wicks since this placement does put the wick right in front of afc holes.

My wicks are fairly thick. I only trim about 20 - 25%, then split each tail in 2 so they can go on all 4 juice ports.

I don't get dry hits, and I get decent airflow.

The coil in the photo is a twisted kanthal 26, 2.5mm id, reads 0.45 ohms on a dna75.

Maybe the trick is that you split each tail in two, so when you peek through the afc the wick would be to the left & right & the center of the wick would be clear for air to get through. I'm definitely going to try later today!

from my experience w/the stmini and bachelor, fairly tight in coil and tails thinned out to the extreme to the point atty doesnt flood/gurgle. tricky to find the right tail thinness.
my last bachelor wick job and i must of built her perfect, at 200+mls and still going strong, normally i would get ~100mls b4 the need to change out the wick. using ss in tc mode

@markfm tried the coil like yours high up lined up with the top post & slightly slanted like @halfempty cut the wick about 50% angle split the tails as best as I could. Was working great for about 5 hours, the airflow & flavor greatly enhanced but now it's leaking out of the afc holes. Gotta go in & rewick.

Or turn up the power a little or reduce your draw effort.
Edit: whoops forgot you were doing TC.

Still haven't built the darn thing, but on the other one I leave the tail long so I can drape it across the bottom from one hole to the other. Once I juice it up I arrange it so there's a thin blanket over the holes. Sometimes I have to go back in and spread it out some more to get better feeding.

Thanks! I will retry tomorrow with your instructions

Update on my Supreme Lite wicking,
It rewicked with @markfm & @halfempty instructions, was great for a day & a half, took it out yesterday, leaking out of the afc :| gotta go in & check the wick & try, try again  don't know that I care for the Supreme Lite :(.

Turns out I think I prefer single coil builds & trying to make it work with the Lite with the single horizontal coil between the posts, I didn't really like it using the single plug adaptor.

Worst case, I guess I'll try it with dual coils.

Leaking lying horz or standing up? How much leaking? A drop or two or pouring out?
If it's leaking lying horz you'll need more wick over the juice holes or you have a leaky seal.
If leaking standing up you prob have a leaky seal.
If it only leaks after chain vaping it you need more power, more airflow or a lighter draw.
