SlickWilly,

You did notice that the additives were in the small print at the very bottom of the add. Actually I was very surprised to see a chemical additive to what was being hyped as medical grade rayon. When I see "Medical Grade" I tend to assume they are claiming PURE and additive free.

I read one or two post that claimed one brand of "Med Grade" rayon had a bitter taste. It may well have been the stuff with Aloe in it. I don't think Aloe would be harmful but than I have never heard anyone claim they just loved the taste of it either. ;)

No I didn't read the description because it said Medline "Medical" balls so I just took it that they were pure rayon but not sterilized. I'm glad you caught it, I'd feel bad if folks bought it from my advace.... :(

that is what's called greenwashing. while cotton is certainly resource intensive, marketing rayon as an "eco-friendly" product is just dishonest.

It wasn't intended to mean it was Eco friendly. Just a paragraph i thought I would post... I read a lot of things; just trying to get back in the habit of posting them here.

The pollution was much worse back in the day and actually India has very high pollution standards. A lot of rayon is produced there. The companies do recycle and resell the by products for use in other industries. So pollution is increasingly lower.

For those who want to sample the CelluCotton, Vices E-Cigs is giving away 12" with any order, free. Drusilla has some great prices over there, pick yourself up a cheap atty or some juice. I am in no way affiliated with Vices, outside of being a customer. Just think it's cool of them to do, a vendor who is truly out there to help people get off the analogs and into vaping.
I'll add that she ships out super fast too.I've bought several times from her,and always shipped same day if i order in the morning.

Holman, I saw that article, too, and it did mention a closed loop process to limit byproducts to a bare minimum. Wish I could remember more of what it said and, better still, where I saw it.

Awsum, thanks, I was beginning to think I was losing it.

The article about the closed loop processing was in regards to tencel, I do believe. Not simply rayon fiber. I may be wrong, but seem to remember that being the case.

Cuando, I looked up tencel and it is a closed loop process. It is supposed to be a more eco-friendly process. That one was easy to find. My problem is I can't keep track of all these names for rayon. - Ugh!

.I just went out and picked up some of this Rayon from Sallys.I just had to try it.Ive been reading they use this stuff in hospitals and surgeries for wounds so it cannot be that bad.Been vaping for 5 minutes and it does taste way better than cotton i must say,no muted taste here. Its almost ''too good'.Im vaping DIY Hangsen RY4 12 mg 100% vg and it taste like its straight outta the bottle minus the bitterness of course.Vapour production is top notch too.Im getting a sweet tobacco flavour now....THIS RAYON IS THE BOMB.

So what's the verdict on the delasko rayon balls as far as purity and lack of unnecessary additives?

My guess is it is as pure as your going to get. To quote them:

"As opposed to cotton balls, rayon balls unwind without falling apart, and large or small tips can be quickly fashioned to meet the needs of the specific lesion(s)."

Anything meat for treating wounds in a doctor's office environment it not going to have anything they don't list. BUT the tel # is at the bottom of the page so give them a call and make sure. I will call them tomorrow whomever gets an answer first wins a new 25 watt vv/vw Provari.... Just kidding.

Heavyrocker,

Well it is about time that someone didn't B....h about the improvement in sweetness. All my juices that should have been at least a little sweet never tasted that way to me until *Jeremy* forced me to use Rayon. Now my juices taste like I thought they should have in the first place.

Hard to believe a little ball of fluff can make such a difference.

Yes,its amazing the difference of the quality of the vape compared to organic cotton. To be honest,i never really ''got the flavour'' from my RY4 using the Trident/cotton.Now with the Rayon i may have too add less flavouring.Im geting much better TH too and im thinking the nic hit is even higher.Who was the person who started all this Rayon wicking?

Cant wait to rewick my KFL.

I have no idea if any one rayon is better than another. They are all pure generated cellulose, the only additive is a type of organic non-toxic based lubricant that may or may not be used on all rayon.

JeremyR or someone else will have to chime in on this one.

Props to Jeremy! But, I also have to thank Xtreme101 much as, he force fed me Rayon to try and was very generous.
I will say that rayon took me by surprise. There are a few of my atomizers I prefer KGD in but, I will say I do not miss the twice worn gym sock left in the back seat of a car on a hot day flavor in most.
It's a combination of things that won me over. Flavor, wicking, more sturdy and wick building.
Being able to pick fluffy strands and nicely mesh them into a fluffy wick is priceless.
Again, good work Jeremy and thanks my good friend Xtreme.

BTW, great information found here. Thank you all.

Welcome to the rayon club Ho!

Thanks T. Been using it a while Xtreme just pointed me in this direction.

So the ''cotton club'' is dead, taken over by the ''Rayon club?''

Not quite, I'll keep the lights on over there also. I still dig KGD a bit. Something new will be out next week anyway :). Can't we all just get along? lol

Alright folks. Heads up. Go check your bank statements!

Over the course of the past 3 months, there have been multiple $49.95 charges made to my card that I use solely for vape-shopping.

Initial charges were made by a Ieptcs Com, and consists of a $49.95 charge and another $1.50 charge.

Subsequent charges of the same exact amount were made by a Support.com.

I've checked with BoA And there's a rising number of reports about it. Please check and if your account has been compromised, report to the bank and have a new card sent out to you.

That is all
