Hmm maybe that's what my wife needs to start vaping again. She was never satisfied with any flavor tobacco/or not. She said it just did feel the same... She's back on analougs and i really want to get her vaping again with the diabetes factor too. My father just lost his leg his arteries in his calf exploded due to prolonged smoking, they failed once trying to repair it and almost lost him... He also has lung cancer. Iv had him try various tobacco flavors, and setups evods, cigalikes.
Maybe i can convert two birds with one juice. Is this NETs, or WTAs you all talking bout. Bonus points for diy links

Whole Tobacco Alkaloid WTA Eliquid Ejuice

Be sure to check out the Whole Tobacco Alkaloid FAQ page too. It does "feel" right. I have two anxiety disorders....this stuff works.

The WTA will have the most extra 'stuff,' alkaloids and whatnot, then NETs. Normal e-liquid would be free of those things. So for someone who needs all the extras you could try NETs first and if that isn't enough move to WTAs. The back to NETs after awhile then e-liquid, if they're looking to wean themselves off the other chemicals.

Yeah, what they said! :D Also, WholeCig has the WTA for a better price if you're just looking for unflavored - 10ml WholeCig WTA -- but Aroma has it as WTA-infused ejuice too, which is better because it's 70% PG instead of 100% VG.

It really does help IMMENSELY, even very small quantities of it.

Ok, back to rayon. :D

just figured i'd pop in here to report that rayon (Sallys cellucotton) is working smashingly in my 3D with a juice that has a tendancy to morph flavors depending on wick material. the juice is NLV Gold and its a fantastic juice. But, it tend sto morph flavors depending on what you use for a wick. mesh ive found to be the best in the past. but we all know the hassles involved with mesh. ive pretty much abandoned mesh but this juice is too good to abandon. way too good. cotton was ok for Gold, but not perfect. i was losing some of the richness of the juice, and thats my favorite part. enter rayon. rayon has been representing this juice damn nearly as accurate as mesh did. and its oh i dont know, about a thousand times easier to work with. im stoked!

i have found that rayon performs about the same for my fruit juices, perhaps a bit better than cotton. but with Gold (which is a flavored tobacco, but vapes like a bakery vape) rayon trumps cotton for sure. are you guys noticing that rayon is better for richer juices too?

Sounds like it lost full contact.

Examine the contact around the circumference of the coil. Tuck little tufts in around the outside with needles. One to push the main wick to a light contact with the coil and one to push light fluffy tufts in to fill the void for the full length of the coil. Not too right or it will also mute the flavor. If you run two strand like op of the thread you can tuck tufts at the coil at the gap where the two come together.

You want it light but enough to stay in full contact not packed tight.

Vertical, vertical, Vcore, bottom coil, chimney, hollow core

And now it floods like crazy must of put too much in lol going to bull it all out and try again

How often is everyone re-wicking in their drippers with rayon? I feel like i'm re-wicking every other day.

A dripper you should be able to go 80-100 ml if you do it right. I go about 2 weeks.. Hint hint - watch the video i just posted

50ml of gunking bobas in a fogger, i'd say you need to work on the density and tails.

Ok heres my 24hr check, mostly clear liquids just a little dark brown liquid. My coils are pretty funky but between the dark juice, and the fact the clear juice was diy with stevia, the coil funk is normal (plus i think twisted wire gunks quicker with all the little juice craters) still loving it iv, the TH problem has solved it self just need to get accustomed to it, the vapor feels DENSER in my lungs, im loving it gives me the feeling of cheffing up a big stoagie lol.

Compared to you guys I'm in gradeschool and your College professors. Just ordered my first supplies to rebuild clearmizer coils. Since I'm cheap, I'm gona try to rebuild the replaceable coils instead of buy new replacements. Already took one apart, cleaned it, put back together didn't seem to complicated.

Just need to know one thing. From what I watched on video and read I thought the coils was not suppose to touch. From this photo it looks like they can, first time I see a coil wrap like yours. So is it ok for coils to touch each other or be stacked tightly together like a spring?

You can go either way as long as they don't cross. You'll get less gunking if they are slightly spaced . Coil in the video is spaced. I wind a tight micro coil then lightly stretch it to give an even spacing use a needle to even out. Leave the mandrel you coil on in the coil when you mount it to keep it in good shape. Look at other threads like the micro coil thread

+1. I do it that way too. When you try to mount the coil without the mandrel, they get all mangled and uneven. And tight coils are a lot easier to wick, so I spread them out after I wick.

I'd almost guarantee the wick density is to tight if they are rewicking every other day. With single parallel coils I'm not getting 80-100 ml. Tight coils seem to gunk faster than spaced coils. I'd venture to say the .35 ohm parallel build I posted had at least 30-40 ml through it and the taste and vapor were still pretty darn good.

I have a .8 dual spaced coil build in a Helios and it seems to be running excellent after 15-20 ml. The coils and wick look pretty clean. Slightly spaced coils just seem to gunk less quickly.

I built and wicked with rayon on Monday and I'm still going... just over 30ml through it so far with no flavor/vapor loss. Coils are 2 strands of 28 twisted, then wrapped around a 1.6mm precision screwdriver microcoil style. In a hybrid dripper mod. I did lift the tails and kinda comb through them with a screwdriver to realign and fluff the fibers once or twice, but other than that the only maintenance I've done is switch batteries and drip juice...

*edit*
Oh, and my juice ratio is 50/50 pg/vg Seduce Juice Genesis... it's pretty clear in color, but it's also pretty sweet...

I actually have pretty spotless wicks, but 2 days of most 100% vg and my coils (dual parallel 28g @ .3 ohms) are pretty grungy.

Going to hopefully rebuild my patriot tonight with something fancy and rayon so we'll see!

I rewicked both my KFL+'s today, after a week of use on both. Both were fairly dark, but a dark brown rather than pure black, and about 99.99% of the brown gunk rinsed right out under running water. It's gotta be the WTA causing them to gunk faster, because I know I was getting upwards of 2 wks, before I started using the WTA. After reading the tips n tricks in here, I also trimmed the wick ends diagonally, so they come to a point; we'll see if that helps any. Both are vaping well, is all I know right now.

Still, a week for a wick is a lot better than the 2-3 days I got with cotton wicks, even IF I managed to get that mystical "right amount."

I'm trying to find out why I have no problems with rayon in my kfl's while others do, and I did not succeed. Now mind you, I'm not really experienced nor very handy. Yet every build I did for my wife seemed to work great.

At least, that's what she told me; my lips were glued to my Origen v2. So I decided to unglue them and use a kfl too for a while. The only thing that comes out of that is a renewed awe for the kayfun. It really really is a fine atty. I'm running a 1.7mm micro coil (I only learned last week that everything bigger technically isn't a micro coil), 1.2 ohm, 19 watts (4.7v), 70/30 vg/pg and I just can't get it to fail. It tastes just great, and I'm sure I can run it even higher, as the vape is still nicely cool.

So I still don't understand where it goes wrong for some - which is a shame.

Also, I have been playing around with kgd just for fun. I must say it works pretty well too, but when I switched back to rayon I could taste tiny nuances that I could not detect with kgd. Mind you, this is all highly subjective, and I know our minds can play tricks on us. But while I would be perfectly happy with kgd, I still prefer rayon at this point. Which is a good thing, because I still have a quarter mile left. :?: :D

WideO,

If I asked before I am sorry but do you have a clone KFL or the real McCoy?

The reason I ask is I have a couple of clones that didn't work all that well long before Rayon. But I took a dremel and enlarged the juice channels and they now run fine regardless of the wick material.

I think a lot of clones or maybe just some clone brands have juice channels that are just too small.
