Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

The plastic bottles degrade over time, even in the freezer.
I have some from MFS but will only buy nic in glass bottles.

Oxidization is another story.

Nude Nicotine - Chemically Validated and Artfully Concocted Electronic Cigarette Liquid
Hmmm.. maybe that's what it is... I'll get it out of there tomorrow. I guess that should've been something I got instructions on with diy...cuz I have a little bit of the liquid in the baggy it's contained inside of. I haven't spilt it. :/ I guess that's why they have a sale on their Liters.. sucks. I thought I was BPA free.. guess I never will be.

Lol i know right if id stop and put aside some time to work on ygese things instead of trying to pinch it inbetween this and that lol i might have less problems, bout to dig my drippers back out, don't know why o don't have them setup for backup but then again....
I've been REAL busy lately and all the problems I've been having.. I've been going through alto of anologs... My throat/lungs/ and wallet are killing me....

Suggestion, take an old pill bottle and wrap a few solid "everyday" coils. Keep them handy and be ready to rewick and rock a dripper at all times.

Too many lessons learned from experience here. I still pack a cotton ball for emergencies and some wire in a dime bag, along with nail clippers and other stuff... here's my work "kit"

And yes, I always pack a spare dripper AND mod that works as well as spare batteries. Really, who wants to buy a pack after blowing tasty clouds?

Grab a case for your batteries, pack a dripper (set up already) and bring the party wherever you go.

I call it the "A Frame." It kinda looks like an "A" when there is no wicking. 10 wraps ea, 30 ga, 0.9 ohms net build, 1.59mm spaced. 20W so far. I was thinking that the fatty wick in the middle would concentrate the airflow somehow (kinda like a partition). Not to mention capture my drippy drips.

I lifted the positive sides of the coils as high as I could and used a single wick. Tails trimmed at an angle and wrapped around the sides for juice well control. The two air holes are pointed at the bottom of the coils. I wanted to see if gravity was a better juice feeder to the coils than the upward wicking action. So far this is the best tasting build I have done. Just for fun of course :)

Did one similar on cotton and an igo-w. Great flavor and awesome production.

Question for you rayon pros. Have you ever found rayon to significantly alter the taste/sweet spot of a juice?

The GF is a big fan of Totally Wicked's peppermint menthol, it has a nice chocolatey taste that's rather subdued, but a major player.

So, I rewick her Evod with rayon for the first time, throw some peppermint menthol in, and... No chocolate whatsoever. Turning the voltage down from 3.8 made it show back up ever so slightly, but I'm at a loss here.

I know cotton imparts it's own unique taste, but I tend to vape relatively simple fruit juices, and nothing like this has ever happened for me, switching to rayon. I also haven't done any side-by-side comparisons, until now.

What gives? Could cotton have just muddled the flavor so badly that we simply perceived chocolate? Is much more peppermint flavor coming through since rayon wicks better?
I'm no pro, but yes. I get a distinct bakery-esque taste from cotton.

Just tonight on a breakdown, a friend and I swapped juices and mechs for fun and I almost gagged when I put my juice in his plume veil... even after confirming the build and airflow. The cotton was dark and funky and my rayon looked cherry.

His build was net 0.8 ohms and mine was net 0.3 ohms.

The flavor that cotton gives to a vape vs rayon does have an effect, even from the first pull. Give it 10 pulls or more and it hits its stride... if the chocolate is her thing, get some chocolate concentrate, she'll love you for it.

Thanks, atroph. I recently started DIY, so I think I'll just have to figure out a good recipe for a similar ADV sooner rather than later. Then I'll be able to tweak it as her equipment progresses too!

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't alone in finding that a juice could change so significantly (just losing an undertone, but it made a big difference) with rayon!

ETA: Jeremy, I think you're right. I'm realizing my wicking skills have never been fantastic. I just happened to get it right "enough" with Kayfun and cotton, but the switch to rayon has made me question some things. I'll have to try again with less rayon. I kept hearing "cram it full of rayon, it shrinks when wet!" And I think I've been taking it to the extreme. I'll get it one of these days, dammit!
Seriously, for wick-fu mastery grab an igo-w. Its a solid performer that takes some skill to get it to shine... but is under $20.

Solid up to 0.2 ohms in my testing and can make juice sing if done well, yet is simple enough that my 10 yr old can build it in a few mins.

Switch??? On the v3?
Yea..I did not dig it, or the lock..easy to lock, also easy to be stuck in a limbo position if you didn't pay attention to the flick..edit..I guess I mean, "flip."

I've been using a tarsius 4nine (with proper atty pins for it) and a gus.. with ball bearings..kinda hard to please me these days.. unless it's a touch sensor that doesn't break.

The v3's throw reminded me of when I have my 4nine with a really short pin.

Hey Jax, verdict on the v3 flip for performance?

^Bleh to the switch..

Yeah, the switch is a bit finicky locking and unlocking. I didn't think that it hit all that hard myself (Have the SS one). What really bothered me the most is that it is uncomfortable to hold/use. With all of that milling, it has some fairly sharp edges. Want to buy it? :D

I really like the 4nine but mine gets very hot at the top. So hot that I have to hold it at the very bottom to use it. Any idea why it is doing that? I thought that I have cleaned the connections well enough. I have Sony VTC5s in button and flat top. I wish I could get it to fire without getting so hot. I'm sure I'd be using it if I could.

Pming you.. gotta go to work.. even though I'll probably be doing the same thing at work.

But I agree on all of that about the flip. I was using my Gus when my friend had his clone over here.. felt like it would cut my hand open in multiple spots holding it, and the authentic felt the same..but it was a quick grip and stroke with the authentic.

Got some of this. It's great! 500 ft for 10 bucks was all they had! Lol...

Don't feel too bad. When I bought mine, Sally's only had the biggest box available. 3lbs of the stuff; which I think I've read is like 1200ft or something equally ridiculous. My wife said she can use some of it for whatever girlie endeavors women use this stuff for.

LOL I'm right there with you. Still, I like knowing that I have enough to last me for the rest of my natural life and, any one else that wants some for that matter.

Hey man since its unflavored, you could go to rightaid or walmart and get some 99.5% usp glycerin, it is in the pharmacy section by the bandaids, you can get 125ml for 7$-4$ bucks respectively!
Just mix 3/4 base to 1/4vg for 18mg,
Half and half for 12mg, or 1/4base and 3/4vg for 6mg. Doing that you will have up to 4x more juice than you have now lol
Vape long and prosper here

Hell, I use that Walmart vg as a primer on a new build form the first wick full.

Juice is spendy when you're a flavor snob that's a cloud chaser too!
