I want my money back! I can get only 70 to 80 ml before my wick starts to look a bit dirty.

Interesting aside: on the latest Clickbang show, Dr. Farsalinos mused that part of the gunking up (regardless of wick material) could be from air impurities/pollution. I never thought about that, but we do suck quite a bit if outside air through & past those coils, so it may well play a part.

Not much to add. Waiting on a Rose v2 clone (can not afford the real deal right now), will be interesting to see how that works with the rayon.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Thanks awsum, it's back to the drawing board. Actually the fluff sticking to my hands is not all that bad and I would rather deal with that then it sticking to all my tools. Those little razor scissors I bought work great so I am not anxious to have them gummed up with VGed fluff.

I'm waiting for those little razor scissors right now. In the mean time, my good old flush cutters do an OK job, just have to be careful to release them BEFORE moving them away from the wick!

You'll like the razor scissors as long as you don't stab yourself. The points on those things are nasty if you are not paying attention.

Ok I'm a believer!! had to try it for myself so I bribed the wife to come with me to Sally to pick a box of it :D I've been on rayon for 2 days now and I like it! migrating all my drippers to rayon from organic cotton. My first build on a dripper with rayon not successful, dry hit and funky taste. I didn't have enough wick density so went at it again and added a tad bit more, this thing squeaks going back and forth inside the coil which makes me cringe lol Juiced it up, vaped on it and it was spot on! a little hard to work with because its much more fibrous and fluffy compared to my cotton but that's because my thumbs and fingers are kinda rough from turning wrenches. Every time I touch it it would get caught on my fingers, damped wash cloth helped me a lot to keep my fingers somewhat moist.

Welcome to the world of awesome vaping...

Somehow I missed this post earlier...I should have said this Before, the sound is much like a styrofoam squeak noise .

The key is try to handle it as little as possible. Use a needle or mini screwdriver to adjust it after you pull it through.

Here's the link to my videos.

Jeesh, I finally got my iPV2 today and have been hitting my Fogger, cellulose wicked of course, on it. I got a nic buzz off of 6mg. I'm gonna have to cut that down to 4mg. Looking at the bright side, now I'll never run out of nicotine!

My foggers kicks my ....... I have my Provari with a ZAP (single coil @ 7 watts rayon wick) on it that I use when I need a break from the fogger i.e. "the sweats". :vapor:

Oh - look out when you decide to re-wick the fogger you will think you have the Nic under control sit down with that brand new rayon wick in the fogger and it will slip up behind you and kick your backside.

I am always logged in, well almost always... the system just hates me. I'll never admit I don't understand the ECF search engine. ;)

Anyway I will give the PG or VG wetting I have been meaning to try that just haven't for some reason. I have tried dampening my finger with water and for me that only makes the fluff stick to my fingers with an even greater tenacity.

I have to rebuild my fogger tonight so I'll try the PG/VG thing and see how that goes.
Pics! I just got one and am not crazy about it...

Does anyone have pics of a wicked fogger? Having issues getting it wicked right. Plus getting little a flavor

Fogger V4!!

Search or start looking for pics 50 posts back, I put up a handful of pics of the last time I rewicked one of mine.

I cut the wick tails at an angle so they are thinner at the ends, thinning them down to a point, reducing them by 50 percent, and just put the tiniest amount down the channels.

You did put a little wick down the juice ports right? I'll stop with the question and let the expert Tbev answer the technical stuff.

Watch out Holman, putting me in charge of anything can be an irresponsible move on your part.. Lol

Yeah, I leave just a tiny bit going down, about halfway into the channels. Just enough to keep it from leaking.
Yes it's partially down the channels removed the airflow control ring but still lacking flavor

It's not even my fogger I'm working on.

That wick is running on a provari @1.4ohm currently on its 60 to 75ml..

You guys have me totally confused... Noob is not using his Fogger and you Mr. Tbev on a Provari driving a dual coil atty.... What is going on here.

As far as putting you in charge Tbev I figured if it got too bumpy I could just pretend I fell asleep and drop out of the conversation.

Tbev my Fogger looks like your build wise I am @ 1.5 ohms and 16 watts. I just reassembled mine didn't need a rebuild the coil has a little glaze but the wicks are white as snow and ever where that Santa went... no that a different story. Anyway it is back and functioning the strange taste must just be the un-steeped Net I am using.

"skinny road" - I think I'll pass on those and we do have a few of them out here in the wilderness.

On the wire snipings I have been known to get down on the floor with a flashlight looking for one that went astray. I have a Cat (my best friend) and there is only one thing she likes better than catnip and that is anything shinny. I am not as worried about her getting it in her foot but she has a bad habit of having to taste anything she plays with. I can only imagine what would happen if she swallowed a one inch piece of 30 Ga. She would probably be better off swallowing a straight pin at least that would eventually dissolve but Kanthal doesn't break down very easily nor is it magnetic enough for a Vet to go fishing with a magnet.

Darn I wish you hadn't brought up this subject now I am going to be even more paranoid about any little piece getting away from me.

Yeah, me too. :glare: But I'm glad you brought that to my attention.

Put a magnet on your clippers...it'll magnetize them to catch the tag ends of the wire when you clip it.
