ok so i attempted that center post build with my cats rda. first i tried a 4strand twisted 32g nichrome80 sleeper build. that was a horrible experience.
so i took 1 strand of 24g kanthal, and 2 strands of 32g nichrome80 and twisted them up with drill. slapped that drill in reverse and rolled a fat clapton with .8/.1mm ribbon kanthal. .6ohms nice at 5-6v

A little high in ohms then i was shooting for of .4 but oh yeah crank up the vv and enjoy

I must say I prefer the sally's rayon over the Tencel because the rayon is much easier to work with! Tencel is too stiff and slippery
I'm satisfied w/the rayon from Sally's even though I like the med bottle rayon I first used by accident (thought it was cotton!) better. So no way am I going to start 'chasing the dragon' by trying every iteration of "rayon".
I asked this earlier but got no reply so I guess the question wasn't posed clearly, so I'll try again: Is there any correlation between the "sizzle" from a rayon wicked coil and the correct density of rayon in the coil? Reason I ask is lately I'm not getting much sizzle or crackle using Sally's. Earlier when I was using med bottle rayon I did get a good amount of sizzle. Same juices, same attys, same type coils, same ohms/watts, etc. So I'm wondering if the lack of sound is because I'm wicking too tight or if there's a difference in Sally's vs. med bottle rayon regarding the sizzle. Whew... replies/opinions or not- that's the last time I'm gonna ask all that! lol
Now that you bring it up cobalt, I use to get that snap, crackle and pop with Sally's when I vaped at a higher PG to VG ratio, 80-20 but now I'm at a 50-50 mix and don't get it anymore. Does that make sense or could it be due to something else I may have changed over time?
Aside from the tencel talk.
I'm at 3 weeks on my build 120-140ml.
Just watched this Dr. F interview, some may be interested since rayon is discussed.
