I'm kinda like you, since I have such a huge investment [emoji38] in this HUGER box of sallies, that an if it got any better I would just have to slap someone! ;)
Slap JeremyR <- says Tony while he hides behind a bush

Stop saying the t word man come on! Can't you say ob instead. Your killing me over here.
Ok. I'm going to insert an o.b into the inner parts of my atomizer, I hope it won't leak... Sounds better? :D

May I be that person and ask, in general consensus, what is the "best" or "easiest" to work with Rayon? Sallys or Grahams or Delasco Balls?

My preference is pharmaceutical, balls, sallys.

Sally's is the seller of graham cellucotton rayon here in the states. Delascos and DM viscose balls are about the same. Tidi large balls are similar but bigger. Pharmaceutical is the bottle rayon and a little more elusive, and from what i can tell the Ku/ob is the same.

Fiber freaks is profiting from my idea and hard work to get rayon accepted world wide.. They are using lyocell from the beginning of the thread.... Just had to say it, rat .......s.

They are all much better than cotton, imo reports to the contrary are simply user error. It needs to be the correct density

But on another note.. After posting about Ku last week, we have had spike of new converts to RAYON / cellulose.

Also page views have climbed back up to 1500-2000 a day.... So I would say it hasn't hurt us at all, actually gave publicity, and drove more traffic and interest, as people are talking about it.

:)

Remember its what's in the inside that counts.. Lol

Ok so I just did a rewick and rebuild with 30g hardened ni 200.

Initial report

1. I would classify o.b under Sally's and obviously under tidi balls. Not because how it performs but because of the added work processing the rayon fibers ie cleaning out knots, shreds and density until you get some chunks of good straight fibers.

2. It's definitely rayon unless cotton gives off a nutty taste too. I deliberately over packed the coil to feel the taste and it's exactly like my other types of rayon. I can't really remember how cotton tastes as I only used it once last year before becoming a Rayonati.

3. It's vaping great now. I will give my final report by the end of the week.

4. Pictures or it didn't happen. Please forgive me my crappy phone pics. I don't even have a macro lens.

The difference between cotton and rayon is striking under 10x magnification. Generally speaking (there are always exceptions), rayon will have uniform strand size and the strands will be orientated parallel much more than cotton. Rayon has less "pilling" than cotton in most cases. But to me the biggest difference is that rayon has a sheen that cotton lacks; about the difference between flat and satin if comparing it to paint. Then there's the 'squeak' that rayon has and cotton doesn't- the squeak that's like fingernails on a chalkboard to some apparently! :grr:
