I don't post much but I come here regularly for information. I've recently taken a swing at genesis style rba's and I've really enjoyed it. I'm using a smoktech RSST and a drawtube mech using AW 18650s with a 2cent fuse. I decided to put the RSST on my silver Bullet and noticed I was getting a hotter vape (maybe a little too hot) with the battery at 3.8 volts than on the drawtube. Does the silver bullet regulate its voltage with it not being a mechanical mod? Is this safe? I don't really plan on using it this way but it just made me a little curious.

Thanks!

Welcome , but you will notice ( in due time ) that some PV's just tend to hit harder than some . For that reason , I use certain PV's , with the devices that work on them the best . The SB is a very good mechanical mod . Probably the best one ever made IMO . You don't mention what ohm resistance your using . If you don't have a device , that reads ohms , you might want to pick up a multi-meter , and test your coils . Or it simple means that the SB , just hits harder than the other PV. Very common . Good Luck

Your not alone in your experience. I've used my AGA T2 on my Silver Bullet. I tried the low ohm (sub 1 ohm) coils but didn't care for the hot vape either. When using my cartotanks I have found I naturally prefer a cooler vape and used standard or high resistance cartos in them. I'm currently quite happy using up to a 2.0 ohm coil, either on the Silver Bullet or my Provari.

Good idea of using that 2 cent fuse while using an RBA on a mech mod. :thumb:
