In playing with many coils in the past month, it seems there are many ways to get what you are looking for but only one way to get the flavor you want, experimentation. What do you guys/gals like to see when you have the cap off, coil wicked and wet, and you fire it?

Do you like to see a quick steady stream of vapor, a volcano like effect where there are molting projectiles flying off the coil, or a mixture of the two?
The parallel single brings instant heat and a quick steady stream of vapor coming from the center of the oil surface and this gives a very quick, warm, full vape.
A twisted single of the same ohm brings forth a quick mass of projectiles flying off like the vapor is exploding which gives a quick warm vape but a little thicker on flavor and slightly less vapor.

Not sure which I prefer but they are both really good.

Lately my favorite build has beensimple dual 24ga coils around a a blue handled screw driver you get with drippers and kayfuns etc, its 8 wraps then i orient it center post.
Single parallel of 26 or 24 ga is great if your rda has enough air flow with just one hole. Umm....twisted builds for me are not the greatest.
Dual tricro coils on the okr box is great too, there are so many ive been finding the 24ga duals are the way to go for me at the moment.
Swan coils were a whole lot of fun too!

I love all different builds, it just depends on the day. My go to build is a dual coil (parallel) setup using 24 gauge kanthal wrapped 8 times around a 1.5mm post for a total resistance of 0.26Ω (0.52Ω per coil).

I used to only do nano-coils when I first started and set them like dragon coils so two fountains of vapor would shoot up. The vapor was great but the flavor wasn't. Micro or macro coils give better flavor in my opinion.

The larger the coils, the more volcanic pyroclastic projectiles (technically, no) are launched off of the coil through experience. I used to never get those stinging little -------- with the nano-coils, but hey, life is full of trade-offs.

I despise build variations. When I buy something I want one SOP that works. All this creativity is just confusing as hell to me. A product should be designed around a simple standard build IMHO.

I agree. I'm not into 'trick' builds. I settle in on a standard build, after a little experimentation, and stick with it.
On drippers, mine is 8 wraps of 26g kanthal on a 5/64 drill bit. Dual coils. about .45 to .5 ohm total. KGD wicks.
