I'm actually ordering a magma, so I'll recommend that one. Bottom air, dual or single coil, nice deep well.. Hard to mess up. There are so many now and it's really a preference thing. Go on YouTube and watch some reviews and see which attributes and styles look good to you, and go from there. I could list like 20 popular rdas. You could look up numerous lists of best beginner best budget best clone best whatever and there's going to be such a variety. It's a good time to be vaping right now.

So many options cause so many reasons.
A way to look at them.
Flavor top or bottom air flow, can also produce nice clouds but not really as much as side air flow from my experience, Unless maybe kennedy comp.
Clouds mostly side airflow.
Size of holes/airflow effects flavor/vapor.

Bottom airflow usually have to pull top cap off and kinda paint wicks.
Side airflow can drop threw the top, just can leak if overdrip or set on it's side.
Top airflow drip threw top don't leak unless u hold it upside down.

Id avoid something like a mutation x as your 1st rda, unless your just going for clouds. My favorites are Aeolus, Vector, Freakshow mini.

I was gonna say mutation x, the 4 posts is really convenient vs 3 pays like most have

+1 For the tugboat v2. It is my first rda and I love this thing. Made a twisted 26 dual coil in it the other day. Great balance between flavor and vapor. Simple 3 post design, the v2 has adjustable air flow and you can run a single coil if you'd like to.

There are tons of rda's out there though. I personally want to get a twisted messes rda, Aeolus, or a Vortice rda.

I have the Royal Hunter. Nice juice well, and 4 posts, so you can work on one coil at a time. I had the Mutation 4x and it had air holes right under the coils...I found myself leaking juice when I over-dripped. The honeycomb on the RH is awesome too.
With that though, I'm looking at RDTAs...seems like an interesting idea!
