I recently made a thread that i had problems with my flavor. Someone suggested that i use cotton. It said organic but i didnt trust it so i boiled it. I put the new wick in and im getting a papery taste. Not exactly sure why. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance

Give it time for the wick to break in , it takes a little while for cotton to lose it's taste .

did you completely dry the cotton after boiling it? i've noticed that cotton tastes a little funny, even if it's only slightly wet, when you put it in the coils. the off-flavor goes away after using the wicks for a little bit, though.

Exactly... When I re-wick using cotton, I get a slight cotton taste at first but after a little bit the taste goes away!

Just like others above have said the cotton taste goes away fairly quick. Im pretty sure its the thinner fibers burning off. The more dense fibers stay. Only my suspicion though. Just about every type of wick has its own slight unique flavor.

Hmm it was mostly dry but i was inpatient so i put the wick in anyway its been around 30 minutes since ive been vaping it. The weird taste has gone down a bunch! It's still there but i have a feeling by tomorrow it will be good as new thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread
