rda questions

I'm thinking about getting an rda and I'm wondering if my istick mini 10w will be enough power for some builds I was thinking dual coil single wire method I'm not sure what ohm ratting I will shoot for.
Any suggestions for an rda and what ohm I can use with the istick if any?

Well I've been vaping for awhile now and iv watched lots of videos on building coil and I don't think I can learn more from videos but by actually doing it.
I've been contemplating getting a disruptor and an rda but if I get and rda it will be for at home use only bc I don't like the idea of dripping in public or at work. And I'm on a budget as well . Thanks for the info.

no dont try on a 10W. you won't get good results due to lack of power. dripping with enough power is a very very nice rich vape in flavor and TH. but you need power to get a proper vape

I'm all for you learning, my point being that you should educate yourself with steam engine and it will tell you everything you will need to know as far as building, if you get a bigger mod you can choose from many RDA's as some like a lower ohm / dual coil / build than others, some produce better flavor at a certain wattage.

I agree with @sparkky1 and @albcig if you do choose to get an RDA make sure you are building safely, Steam Engine is a great tool. Also, the iStick mini will be a bit underpowered for dripping. I too drip exclusively at home...dripping and driving is a dangerous game and I hate having a juice bottle along with my mod to keep in my pocket. RTAs are my favorite now, good vapor production and fill & go.

Ah I miss my RDAs. May have to wipe the dust off. Now I mainly stick to my RTAs. I love building coils so many variables come into play and it is so much fun to just wrap coils. I've even experimented with making my own name into a coil. Turned out ok. Also did a few other novelty coils. Kind of reminds me of when my grandmother would sit in her rocket and knit. Now I do the same thing but with kanthal or nickel.

Edit: definitely want to get you a mod capable of at least 80w imho. I prefer mechs because it encourages you to make a specific coil build to regulate your power. To start I would reccomend a something simple perhaps a little boy RDA and wrap coils with 28 ga. But I'm sure your local B&M will be more than happy to help you with wrapping and choosing your first RDA. I think most of my gear is aimed towards RDAs. And imo rdas can be expensive in the aspect of the gear you will need. Here is an area where skimping out a few bucks could be costly. Get a proper ohmmeter especially if your aiming towards a mech. I'm not sure how much gear/xp you have so this could be a bit of an expensive endeavor. as stated above steam engine is my go to site as well.

I'm sorry, but I dont think you'll be happy at ten watts. Sure you could build a coil that once ramped up might put out some vapor, but it wont be right. Since cost is a factor, you might want to look at the 40watt kanger k-box. It can be found for about 20 bucks and youll need a battery and charger. But with 40 watts you could get a nice vape with a mid sub ohm coil set up.

I agree with @sparkky1 and @albcig RTAs are my favorite now, good vapor production and fill & go.

mine too. RTA and usually a 30W device is my all day vape. easy, reliable setup and practically 0 hassle.
