That is un-friggin-believable. It is funny though. How stupid (or shameless) can someone really be?

Apparently we'd be surprised lol. In a way I'm really not though. People these days are just plain ridiculous. I thought it was worth a good laugh.

Yeah, it doesn't really surprise me. I stopped being surprised by people's stupidity a while ago

While we're on this (off)-topic, I will post this for lulz

Need help justifying 450$ on tmods squonker single 26650. Anyone own one and could give me feed back?

I don't have a 26650 Tmod but I do have an 18650. I've also owned an SX350J Tmod and an 18500 Tmod mini. All built to survive a bomb blast and awesome performers. It will easily outlive you.

One word of advice - I'd opt for a bare metal finish. The cerakote finishes tend to chip and flake with little provocation.

Exactly. The thing that's confusing is Nareg posts some comments and asks for input about how the releases should be done. I didn't count the responses but it seemed to me that the majority was in favor of larger batches even if it meant longer waits. No response from Nareg and it seems like he's going ahead with the usual small batches. Why even ask?

If the interest is truly to get a NarDA in the hands of as many people as possible, creating a list that GUARANTEES everyone on the list gets one is the way to go. Releasing these small batches and leaving the outcome up to an F5 war flies in the face of wanting everyone to get one. I think that was pretty much cemented last week when Nareg made a comment about how people really love the NarDA and if they want multiples they should get multiples. At this point I see things degenerating into an M-Atty scenario.
It's all by design. Beanie Baby marketing. Release them in small limited batches so the consumer is craving them and endlessly shilling them on Internet chat boards.

Hi All, I'm brand new...but read the first 90 pages of the thread between last night and now so feel like I "know" some of you already ;) I've been doing my homework and even taking some notes. Hoping you won't mind a true newbie question as I prepare for my first RDA purchase.

Background - I mostly use my regulated hexohm 2.1s. I have a snow wolf 1.5 I still use too. So far I've collected way too many subohm tanks always looking for the new best one. Never had an RDA. Never built coils. I've been watching tons of videos and reading online - but still a total beginner. I actually have someone sending me a troll clone with a build in it next week (so nice of them!)

I know I prefer flavor above all else. I hate leaking! (who doesn't). I think (but don't know so please advise if I'm wrong) that a 2 post design might be best for me as it seems easiest. But I do have a few 3 posts on my "maybe" list. I plan to use a single horizontal coil at least to start since it's all brand new to me.
I definitely want easy to build on (that's really important) and learn on since I'm an absolute beginner. I don't mind spending a bit for quality. But not $100+. I want to be able to use my 510 drip tips as an option. My list of RDAs being considered is really really long and I'm not getting too far narrowing it from here.

Dot Mod Petri
Sapor Wotofo
Freakshow mini
Hobo 3.1
Rogue
Kennedy 24
Tugboat V2
royal hunter
Stro Mini V2
Manta (V2, I think?)
Stumpy
Mako Shorty
Vector

Not sure if these are all still readily available thru online retailers. If not, I'd rather take it off my list. I'd appreciate any and all input and advice. Please chime in if you see anything I should eliminate or any you think are really the best choice(s).

I'm not trying to be lazy. I'm still reading and researching but it's a bit overwhelming.

My wishes are:
as easy as possible for a newbie
good or great flavor
not super prone to leaking
can use 1 horizontal coil
ability to use my 510 tips

Thank you so much for anyone with the time and patience to advise me. :) It's very much appreciated!

@heeree - The Hobo V3.1 meets all of your criteria. It's got a two post deck to build on which makes it super easy. It definitely produces great flavor and does not leak easily. That's not to say it's leak proof but I haven't had an issue with it leaking. You can run it with a single coil and use your own drip tips.

The Manta V2 meets the criteria as well but I think it would be almost impossible to find an authentic and even if you did it would cost over $100.

The Stumpy also meets your criteria but I'm not a fan of it. A lot of people swear by it but IMO the Hobo blows it away.

@heeree speaking from the "top airflow elitist" side of this thread, for price, ease of use and flavor, my top RDAs are the Syntheticloud Aeolus series and the Vulcan Vector. I own the Aeolus v1 and v2 and have the new Aeolus Lite en route. Building on the v1 and 2 are easy on 3 posts, the Lite has 4 posts so should be even easier, is half the price of the v1/2, come in tons of colors, they're also highly leak resistant and promote amazing flavor.

I tried so hard to like the Vector. I mean, I didn't hate it but I never got great performance out of it just good. My favorite top airflow atty that I own is the Manta V2 followed by the Hastur.
I loved the vector, just not the airflow directly on my lips sometimes and the large bore tip. I've been thinking of getting the comp cap that redirects the airflow to the sides of the top and allows you to use your own tip.
