Oh wow, I didn't even see that. I mostly got it cause I always wanted it and it's always out of stock, plus I'm eventually gonna get a bottom feeder but I'll just use it in regular dripper mode till then. Plus it's a 2 post so that's a plus imo.

Well, I saw one list he ran was 120$ US and on the one site that carries them when in stock there about 150-160$ US. Don't quote me on the last price cause I forget what it converted too when I did it.

Not horrible... but for $160 i'd want some sort of chip in there. $100-ish is good for what it is.

I've never had one of those atties, though I've heard/read good things about them.

I have to ask though, do they generally look that gnarly or is that just this photo?

Gnarly as in dirty? Mine came pretty clean and the machining was excellent.

Just the photo. I have a short cranked that sits due to its restrictive draw. It arrived clean and machined perfectly. I even had the air opened up a bit from stock and all traces of machine oil where gone. No fancy packaging, just some pink bubble wrap.

That too. The interior top-portion of the front post-block (or whatever it's called) looks kinda chewed up.

Am I missing something with these coils?? I don't see all the rage. Maybe it's the rda it's in or the juice in using? I think @kformeck you were right, I have this in the hobo and I find I like the basic build better. My pics suck but it's a fused clapton.

Why would they publish a photo of a mangled prototype. Take a look at the 510 post connect to the deck...yeesh.

Heis, maybe less cotton. I don't have any cotton under my coils ever. It looks like that far coil is fairly wadded up. Less cotton means more airflow as you know. Sometimes claptons are semi duds as well. It happens.

Really? Wow hmm. Normally I don't use as much but I've never really used fused Claptons before this so I figured maybe I'd use a little more this time in case it burns through more. I will take your recommendation and rewick. Thank you. I love this rda I'm just not getting the flavor off it I thought I would.

For me, it totally does depend on the atty. But in general, I think exotic coils (at least the ones I've used) are just okay.

I'll be honest, I bought these coils, they were super cheap and I've been wanting to try them so I figured what the hell. I knew I should of used something else. Maybe the aeolus pro would of been better.
