Re-naming of e-cigs????

I call my doggie a 'piggy' all the time, because she is a piggy. But not literally. Not because she looks like a piggy (well, she has a big belly) but because she consumes as much as a pink porker. And because she rolls in mud a lot.
She does not like it because she says that it is just playing on words. She says that she is really a doggie.

My dog is a kitty-pig and he knows it. He looks like a pig and thinks he is a cat. Pugs are weird that way.

But as to topic--Do you know of any newbie that is going to search for "E-NI," "PV" or anything other than "electronic cigarette?"

If you want people to find us or products, they need to be called by what they are.

I'm not ashamed of my collection of electronic cigarettes. I don't smoke them, I do vape them, though, so maybe the devices can remain named e-cigs but we need to get the word out that we do not smoke them.

I think it will just confuse people.

Some interesting comments here. P-NIs? Perhaps Totally Wicked is just changing the name to be PC (politically correct). Maybe they think that by calling it an E-NI (Electronic Nicotine Inhalator) it sounds more saleable? Kinda like calling toilet paper bathroom tissue. Personally I'm old and I still call a certain kitchen appliance an ice box. My kids and grandkids just roll their eyes.

Whatever you want to call them, it's obvious that many people like them. Hopefully, mine will be here tomorrow. Can't wait.

Even a name with Nicotene in it doesn't convey the fact that it can be used to vape without nicotene being involved. Alot of people I've been showing my PV to look down on it just because nicotene is still involved. I tell them I can lower the levels until there's none at all and that seems to bring approval.

PV seems like something that's easy to remember and can easily be looked up (even though google gives a bunch of other stuff when you type in PV. if it's use were more common it would come up first in a search.)
