Re-wicking vertical coils

I have just recently learned how to wick (my boyfriend used to do it for me) and Ive only had experience with horizontal coils. I have a Kangertech OCC .5 subohm and I am so confused. Help!

When I used those, I rebuilt the coil to horizontal. Those vertical plug in coils are next to impossible to rewick

You can but the taste isn't there.

Used to do that on my old STM,, yer right, Horizontal has an edge in taste.
Did the verticals to prove i could. Could do 5 out of 7.
Really a waste of time. Get a proper single coil RTA,, you will be rewarded..

You can't vape without a wick. Well, strictly speaking you can, but maybe a draw of 1/10th of a second and it would be terrible and requires a Clapton/ alien coil.

Are you screwing with us? I feel like you're screwing around. If not can you elaborate so the rest of us can try it. I'm sure 99.9% of us have never vaped without a wick so teach us, share the wisdom.
