Do you know anything about building coils, ohms law, resistance testers, etc? Mech Mods, Sub-Ohming, Dripping, are not as easy as just buying an RDA and VG juice, it takes some knowledge to start that safely. If you have questions, i'd be glad to answer!

If you do, I'd suggest a regulated mod, like an iStick 30w, or a miniSigeliei 30w box mod. As far as dripper's go, RDA's are mainly about personal preference, do you want more cloud or more flavor? Doge, Mutation X, and Dark Horse are the thre top RDA's in my opinion. CLONES are sometimes just as well as authentics IMO if you get a 1:1 clone. Make sure you know about resistance and coils though, it will take you a long way. A GREAT build on a clone RDA can produce amazing results, trust me I know.

I have an authentic Pollux RDA (est cost, $120), and my $15 Dark Horse clone with the same build, on the same mod, produces the same results to me. Same cloud, same flavor. ITS ALL ABOUT YOUR BUILDS!!! :)

Hi Love and welcome to the forum. Currently I have two iStick 50W (4400 mah) with 4 Nautilus Mini's and 2 Kanger Subtank's.(I swap tanks to change flavors often) I had a vape friend give me 2 drippers (one a copper Tugboat) and found dripping wasn't for me. I am a grab and go kinda vaper. The subtanks are really new to me but I have found coil building easy, and now I can replace/rewick a coil at whim with no concern to cost. The Nautilus' are still a great tank. I've gotten really good life from the replaceable coils and amazing flavor. While the subtanks do have a slight increase in flavor (1.2 ohm coils), I find contentment with either setup. Good luck in your vape journey.

    No you can't
I made the move last week to dripping and I'm enjoying it a lot. I'll share my suggestion.
    Things your need..

    1. Coiling jig.
    2. 32 and 28 gauge wire for now, you can read up on twisting wire later and that will give you emnce clouds and flavor.
    3. Bacon cotton (Japanese cotton).
    4. Get a dripper with a deep well, I got the Mutation V4 it's nice.
    5. Something to cut the wire I use a nail clipper and the cotton can be pulled apart.

You can get all this at fasttech.com if you pay for extra shipping your get it in about ten days, cost $1.00 or so extra and worth every penny of it.

While you waiting start watching you tube just put in the search box rebuild dripper and your set to go.

Your need a mod that can go to at least 30 watts and get some Sony v4 or V5 batteries and a good charger.

I think a copper Manhattan is a good mech mod. Very thick and sturdy with large magnets in the switch. First thing that usually fails on a mech mod is the switch so you'll need a good device and the Manhattan delivers. As far as RDAs start with a simply three post design. Some of my favorite clones are the Hobo, Derringer, Stillare V2 and Tobh. I think Infinite and Cigreen make excellent RDAs. Couple sites you might look at are Vape Royalty and VaporDNA. Good luck. Also watch YouTube vids on all devices you are thinking about buying and all devices you do buy. Look for reviews that have a high number of views.

The B&M I went to recommended the Freakshow Mini for my first RDA. Can't go wrong for just $25. Although the thing is small and it is a bit of a pain to have to drip more liquid on it after every 4 or 5 vapes. The one thing I didn't like about this RDA is the air holes are below the coil so if you're not careful you can easily drip juice down the airhole and it will leak out of the bottom. This has happened to me a few times.

    Hi All,

I feel I have evolved from pensticks now and I'm ready to take on mods and dripping. Where did you all start and any recommendations?
    thanks.
    Love Eliquids

1: Get a regulated mod; examples include
istick, mvp, vamo, ipv, segelei, e-lvt, svd

2: Try not to jump into too much too fast, but I do recommend a simple rda for anybody; just use some 30 guage kanthal and save yourself having to buy coils or worry about tanks not wicking properly
