Lol the OP asks for a cheap place for the spinner and is told to get something different.

Well I don't know how well you answered the op's question, but I am glad you posted this. Good find!

Not trying to add to the drama or anything... Just looks like a cool battery! I've never seen vw option on an ego size battery before...

Since the OP is new and probably has limited experience and knowing the twist/spinner fanboys would be along soon, I wanted to provide a better alternative. I could have suggested a Vamo so the OP could get a better model than the twist/spinner and save money over the highly over-priced twist/spinner batteries. But I didn't, lol.

(and "thanks", Sharon)

I have read a lot about the spinner vs the twist, and I think I am going to get a spinner. My eyesite isn't too good upclose so the spinner sounds like a better fit. Does anone know where the least expensive place is to get one?:?:

Yes, suggesting a Vamo would have made you look like a fanboy, instead of just looking unsolicited.

You know.... I don't get it. Can't you guys save the contempt for some crazy nonsmoking fascist or one of those ANTS people or whoever the f?

I mean... we're all on the same team of sorts. So let's pass the peacepipe and get on with our night. Hey?

The ants might start saying that vaping gives people anger issues. They'd have a solid point reading some of this crap!

I got my 1300 mAh vv spinner from AltSmoke.com - eGo Spinner Variable Voltage Battery
An assortment of colors at $24.95 + s&h, if you go to the coupon section of this site there is a 5% discount code or if you visit their FB page and like them you can get a 10% coupon code

then you can go cheap and order the charger and accessories from fasttech ;)

giggles at everyone....don't mind them, they all mean well and everyone has their own opinions on what is best...
lmfao@the provari...ignore them...more or less an inside joke :D nice mod but damn expensive :p

but vaping is a personal choice and to each their own....but since you did ask specifically about twist or spinner....we'll stay with that

and I have to agree...I've had mine for 2 or 3 months now and rather enjoy it, it is my one and only pv and works great and am grateful that it was highly suggested to me when I first started asking questions

while the others have made other suggestions that are nice, I'm not sure if I would jump into that as a first pv.....

oh and a word of advice lmfao...if and when you get your spinner it should come fully charged so you can wait for the charger to arrive ;) and yes you have to quickly press the button 5 times to turn it on lmfao it took me a while to figure that out. Once powered on, just hold the button down to vape and release when done inhaling. Then when done vaping 5 quick presses of the button turns it off.

Surprised someone didn't tell the OP to get a Provari.

Oh well, the thread is still young.
Don't waste your time with a twist or a Spinner. Just get a Provari.

(happy?)
Thank you. You made my day, and now the thread is complete.

The twist/spinner seems like a good stepping stone for folks that are first starting. Just turn till the taste is right. No charts, no fuss, just trial and error. VV and VW may be overwhelming to someone is new when numbers are involved.

Reminds me of when I had a buzz pro. Adjust to taste, I only got rid of it because the raised connection annoyed me. People rarely mention the buzz pro anymore.

Great suggestion! I just found one for 39.99 Innokin iTaste VV V3 Passthrough Battery. Anyone know if the Innokin iTaste V3 does well with larger (3ml +) tanks like the Vivi Nova, iSmoka BCC or the ProTank? Have any pics of what those would look like on the V3?

I have three of the new iTastes and have purchased nine Twists, four of which I've gifted. I would recommend the iTastes, hands down over any other similar-sized battery. The build is better than the Twists, VW doesn't require any oHms homework, the size is great and the iTaste has pass-through capabilities. The iTaste is very easy for a beginner to use but the built in oHm reader allows someone to rebuild heads or even RBAs/RDAs down the road.

This is one of my iTastes, one with a dripping atomizer/shield and the other with a Pro Tank.

If the OP still wants a Twist I would highly recommend these. They have an easy to read voltage indicator, metal firing button and a light that lets you know when the battery is starting to get low. The build quality is the best I've found for Twists including the Joyes.

Well, now you've pretty much got me talked into checking this out! Thanks for the pics. I might just have to go order one now! :thumb:

Can I second the Itaste suggestion? Being pretty new myself, take this as you wish, but I like it so much that I now have two of them. Easy to manage (I read the instructions - !!- go me!! -) and works great. There are so many options out there it's hard to decide and gets confusing pretty fast. The Itaste V3 works great with my Evods and my Protank.

I like simple, so this is working for me - if you decide to check it out you might like it as well. Battery holds up all day for me, too. Have fun with the 'window shopping' - you'll find the right one for you!

I, like many other long time ECF members, have been providing advice to new members for a number of years. The idea was for the new person to benefit from our "comparative" experience of many different PV models. For some, it appears, we are suppose to "self-muzzle" that comparative experience and not provide alternative options. I've seen many posts where some new person posts that they are considering getting a model like a plain fixed volt 650 mAh eGo and many posters then recommend a twist instead. I don't usually see other posts chastising those people for recommending a better alternative.

I also don't understand how a technology like variable watt (VW) that is closer to "set & forget" is somehow more challenging than "trial & error" variable volt (VV). With the ever changing and improving vaping industry, it makes little sense to me that we would limit advice to a new person.

Ok, I did it! I just placed my order for an Innokin iTaste VV V3 from Smoke Evolution. I watched pbusardo's review on youtube and it really gave me a feel for what I'm getting into. Really happy about this!

Of course, someone really does need to take my credit card away from me because somehow I've managed to spend about $200 in the last few days on e-cig fun stuff... ugh! Still cheaper than buying cartons of analogs (I think)... Actually, I refuse to sit down and do the math, but I'm going to pretend anyway 8-o

The way I see it, you cant put a price on your health, right?

Thanks for all of your thoughts and for all the wonderful insight I get from ecf members that help me make informed decisions!! Glad to be a member of the forum.

Thanks everyone for the comments and posts. I have been looking all weekend (even during a wedding I was attending this weekend, don't like the bride anyway). I think I'm going to go for the itaste VV V3. It seems like the spinner is good, but only a small step up. I'm feeling pretty good after sitting all weekend, so I think I'll go for a bigger step up. :rickroll:
Thanks again everyone for your help, and sorry to start the agrument. I did appreciate all the info on different devices.
