Where did you get your DSE801HP ? I love my DSE's and would love to try the high power one. Sometimes I don't get a good hit on these small ones.
Click right here. That's where I got mine- LiteCigUsa if the link doesn't work.
I'm growing fond of it.
I don't know if it'll be my 'go-to-kit'- still too early! Very, very fun to play with.
Awesome vape.

I think I have seen this done before, it reqires a straw, flexable neck and steady hands. Poke a hole in the straw to get the positive connector to the connector. It's not easy, but it can be done. Please post a vid!

its a lot simpler than that. just turn the battery around and instead of sucking, blow through it. you have to place the test leads first but it isnt that difficult. i did it for the Mistic e-cig i have. no straw needed. LOL.

You still have to dismantle it first, though, right?
I am a total Noob.

I had one of these. Got it from Litecig. I believe it IS two stacked itty bitty 3.7v batts in there and the ohms of the atty make the experince that of a 5v. It performed ok....that is to say, it hit well. The cartridges don't really wick well and they life between charges is horrible...add to that (as mentioned) it's an auto so you can't drip on it and you have to use the attys that come with it, cause other 801 gear won't fit it. I traded it off pretty quickly.

Thanks so much for the info! I thought I was going to have to dissect it - and I don't want to because it's fun.

Yes, it does hit well. Great TH and heavy vapor.

Yes- these are the downfalls. I've found the battery to last 5 hours after a full charge, and it takes longer to charge them.
It's very proprietary, too. You would have to get their cartos, etc. However, I haven't had problems with wicking and because it feels like a vape from dripping, so the auto battery (for me) hasn't been an issue.
I have read some negative experience from them regarding quality and reliability, so I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending them to a Noob until there are more reviews out there, so for right now I guess I'm the guinea pig.

But- it has such a different vape to it, unlike all the others. I could see this as being a perfect fit for someone who would otherwise go back to analogs.
I would hate for that to happen.

A 7.2v auto battery??? where can I get one!!!! .... the 120mah at 6-8.2v doesn't seem to add up, but it could be a typo as internet retailers tend to re-use product description templates and simply edit the info to match the newly added product, and sometimes miss a line or two while adding the new info ( I know from personal experience )...

How long did the battery last??? 120mah would only last about an hour.

I got mine a liteCigUsa.com- BUT, I haven't been able to get a true volt reading yet. It's kind of complicated because the battery is an auto. I would bet it's much higher than a 3.7,though.

It must be a typo, that's what I am assuming. It wouldn't make any sense that way at all.

The batteries last about 5 hours on a medium to medium high vaper. You get two, so ... I wish it had 3 with an extra charger!

...hmmmmmm, the manufacturer states the batt has 2x120mah batts...2x3.7/120mah batts in series adds upto 7.4v at...120mah(you add volts, not mah when batts are in series)..,sorry, just not for me...I sincerely hope you enjoy it...I wonder if it is regulated to 5v or ???
madjack:2cool:

p.s. if you do get your hands on a meter, measure the ohms of the atty as well...I would be interested in that number too........mj

madjack- Is it possible to have 2x3.7/120maH's? Do they make batteries like that? What would it feel like if you had 2x3.7/120mah batts?

Sure thing, Mj! I am going to find help over the weekend to figure out how to trip the battery while measuring- I need another hand,at the very least. When I do that, I can check the atty/carto combo, too.

...most anything is possible...if you disassemble a AA batt, you will find a stack of what looks like hearing aid batts...what would it feel like...I guess like a 7.4v batt...lololol

It came out to
6.33 volts- after about 1 hour off the charge and some light vaping (I had given up finding some help so I vaped a little, lol).
Just the battery, couldn't get the atty/carto read- it was too difficult to get the voltage on just the battery.
It finally took 3 of us, but we got it.
So, there you have it, folks.
Thanks for all of your help!
