Really naive question re: Magnets

I'm dumb so please help me out. Is there anything to consider when putting magnets near batteries? Or attys? I know magnets work on the ends for battery spacers but does that mean magnets on the side are ok as well? Any problem with magnets near a regulator (I'm using the madvapes LDO)?

I can only see minor problems around coils in chargers and even those without any kind of damage.

Around e-cig parts nothing at all.

I just bet a LOT of people were grabbing magnets just to see if their auto batts would be set off about a minute after you posted this.

Thanks all for the help. I'm trying a mod (my second) and I'd like to use magnets for a couple areas. Sounds like I'm good to go.

i didnt realize a magnet would set off my auto when i first started vaping, had it in my shirt pocket with my name tag on... yes. "whats that smell?". lol.
