I agree with what everyone else says. I smoked for 40 years. vaping got me off the smokes and has also become a nice hobby.

But.

What you are asking is kind of like saying:

"I'm not a "h" addict, but I've tried "h" and methadone and I need some good reasons to get addicted to methadone."

Not so good.

I'm late. Darn it, had so many pithy remarks too.

While I would rush you to the store and help you pick out your first gear if you were a smoker and under my roof, I'd sit you in a corner if you wanted to start and had no habit.

Now, gonna shut up before I get in trouble.

We need a bunch of never smokers as test subjects, so I'm going to go against the grain here and say heck yeah! Vaping is so cool everybody should be doing it, and not just casual like. Get a good setup and some high nic juice and vape it like there's no tomorrow, I mean, like take a big ole lungful every other breath all day long. All the other kids will be so jealous when they see the massive clouds you can blow and they'll all want to try it too :)

The more never smokers that vape, the more data that can be gathered in ten or twenty years on any possible long term effects on never smokers, which is a much needed sub group of vapers for scientific studies.

Good reasons to start vaping:

1) Your dying of cancer.

My daughter decided to take up some light smoking while dying - she smoked about three cigarettes a day, I still have her lighter. So, if your dying of cancer and feel the need for an external stress reliever I'm sure your dad would not worry much about some light vaping.

2) your morbidly obese.

Nicotine can be an appetite suppressant plus it gives you a hand to mouth habit to give you something other than food to stick in your mouth so your dad, along with your doctors advice, might see vaping as an acceptable thing under such conditions.

3) Your bedridden and are tired of puzzles, and there is no one left online to debate.

4) You've smoked for 30 years and have no other way to rid yourself of the horrific addiction of smoking.

I'm sure your dad, along with your doctors advice, would see that as an acceptable reason to start vaping.

5) You want to be the guinea pig, unpaid of course, for the long term dangers of vaping.

Will it cause cancer? What kind of breathing problem will it give the never smoker in the long term? Just how addicted will the never smoker become?

All these things and more science would like to know where concerns the never smoker, and we lack a large pool of unpaid test subjects. .. we have theories of course, but no real world data. You would be doing the world a favor..

You might could talk your dad into allowing you to be that person.

hopefully this helped you In your search for valid reasons to begin vaping.

I’m pretty much on board with what everyone else has said, that’s it's not the greatest idea. If I could go back to when I was young there’s a lot of things I did that I would choose not to do. That being said, there are probably worse things you could do. Omit the nic or keep it low and learn all the appropriate safety measures so that you don’t blow any pieces off of yourself. And still, if it’s going to cause disruption in your relationship with your dad, is it really worth it? I don’t think so but you might think different.

priced about the same as online vendors. Overpriced setup IMO regardless.
Was surprised really. Wasn't it Walgreens that removed Cigs from their stores? Or was it CVS? Haven't been in one in awhile, and haven't bought cigs in over 3 months now.
