Had the mod for about a month with zero issue, last night while chain vaping the mod suddenly turn off, batteries are Sony VTc5 around 70%. After plugging the mod into my pc it turned on as if nothing happened. So I thought everything was fine. Woke up this morning mod refuses to turn on, so I plug it back into usb and it's fine. So I take out the batteries and change to my lg hg2s fully charged. The mod again refuses to turn on until I plug it into usb. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue with their dna200 and if there is a fix?

What I have tried so far,
Soft reset
Hard Reset
Restore Defaults

Still does not power on till I plug it into my pc, then operates with no issue till I leave it to go to soft off/standby then I have to plug it into my PC again.

I'm no electrical engineer by any means but have you checked the connections where the batteries go? I'm thinking maybe a loose wire so it's not recognising the power until it's plugged in? That's if checking the connections/battery sled is even an option. Like I said I'm no electrical engineer.

The reply from evolve is the board is faulty, it's something they have seen a handful of times and I would need to send them the board only to replace :|

Which brings up two issues,
1. I have no idea how to remove the board from my mod.
2. I am from South Africa so shipping it back to them is going to cost a quite a bit. :nah:
With the exception of sending them your board and me or other members that matter not being able to see your mod I don't really see what else we could possibly do. Maybe look around on google or something for a disassembly video for your mod and follow that. It's either ship it back, repair it yourself, or simply buy a new one imo.
