Hello, fan of the site. Just joined. Ive been vapin for a couple years now and vey much enjoy the iclear 30 from innokin. Its one of the best clearomizers out there. So i decided (with experience of rebuilding the vivi nova multiple times) to try and rebuild the iclear. So i made both the coils, put them in with a struggle, and went to vape. I think i must be doing the connections wrong because im getting no fire! Im using 32 gage kanthal and cotton wick. Has anyone been able to accomplish this? I really want to rebuild it because im really into the technical stuff! Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance! Peace

Anyone out there have any advice?

Hopefully someone reply's. i might tinker with it again and see if i can get it! Ill let u know if i do. Thanks

I think this is one rebuild you would not bother with. The heads are so good and prices are coming down. I saw these from Health Cabin $9 for 5 heads - two Ohms choices. For me I finally found a small use for my MM DID POS. Slight mod and the cap fitted. My favourite vape at the moment :)

I did succesfully get both wires through, and assumes the grommit went on the same as the vivi nova's(also made sure wires werent crossing), but im just not wuit sure on where the coil ends are suppose to connect. Wish some expert could teach me haha i love rebuilding aty's

If it is similar to the nova (which I rebuild) then I would think 2 wires go under the grommet and 2 wires go above the grommet similarly to the nova rebuild. You would have to make sure that 1 side of each coil is paired with each other to make sure you don't have both ends of 1 coil both on top or both on bottom. As long as you are not crossing streams you might be alright. Remember never "cross the streams"

Hopefully someone can confirm this. I didn't find a specific thread dedicated to this when I searched.

hi found this for someone who made a dual coil viv nova. Would this be similar? I know the innokin has criss crossed atomizer coils. If the atomizer head is a similar build style this concept may work for you

Just throwing ideas out there. I would test it for you if I had one

What ever you do dont vape that lol

I still haven't vaped it yet. It doesn't exactly fire, as previously posted, I meant to say it shows a 0.5 ohms rating when checked. When I was rebuilding it, it's very tight in there, and there was an extra grommet inside. I think it was there to keep the +/- wires from touching in the tight spot in the middle. Then, on the positive wires, I think there was some stuff on them that looked like liquid tape, or some kind of liquid insulation, again to prevent shorts. I tried to get the extra grommet in place, keeping the pos wires from each coil from touching; then again, maybe not so much from not touching each other, as not touching the metal or neg wires. Either way, I still don't feel like I know enough about it to feel safe vaping it.
