Do I understand the theory correctly that the reason people try to go sub-ohm with manual setups is because they are limited to whatever the battery has available in terms of power? I don't believe that I need to go that far, myself, as I have heard stories of people blowing up batteries, but I am curious. My AGA is currently set up right around one to 1.2 ohms.

Wouldn't a Kick make a manual mod perform like a vv/vw? Minus the protection, obviously.

A kick will give you vw a crown will vv vw ohms reading and you can change the watts and volts with out having to take it out of the mod !and the kick or crown or a clone of a kick will give you the same protection as a regulated device ! The kick 2 goes to 15 watts and can run ohms as low as .5

It makes it a fully regulated mod your 1.2 ohm coil will vape at 11 watts on just the battery from your mod so crown goes to 12 watts kick clone as well kick 2 -15 watts so is a few watts worth your $

you are correct, the only problem is it takes space so you go down one battery size to use it or they may offer a kick extension for your mod.
regulating a mechanical is the only reason for a kick
