Good question, no answer... I think the US folks that are engineering them just haven't gotten to mass production yet. The couple folks are ordering are either small batch/co-op or hand made. The only ones that seem to be readily available (meaning can have within a couple weeks of ordering) are the DID's from Greece.

Americans like disposable stuff more than the rest of the world.
Double edged razors are big in Europe, where they still make them. In the U.S., it's a niche market.
We like disposable shopping bags, mp3 players, pens and lighters more than most of the rest of the world.
We can't get enough disposable e-cigs, atomizers and cartomizers.
It's a state of mind. Rebuildable atomizers will sell here, and they do.
But disposables have nothing to worry about.
If it wasn't for the Europeans, it might never have occurred to us that an atomizer could be rebuildable.

Ermmm waht about ordering one from Europe? Wouldn't that be faster?

Actually a resounding NO. Europe has waiting lists 6 to 9 months out. However I did order "The Did", from an actual web site yesterday located in Greece. We'll see how long it takes, but I have heard good things about it, both the web site and the product.

If you check the Coop section right now you will find an active Coop for a Scubagen v3 mini that is worth a look. Right now there are still about 28 units which were requested, not paid yet, and for which there is nobody waiting on the reserve list. Be courteous and read as much as you can stand before posting questions and get yourself on the reserve list if it looks good. It looks like about a month wait. (Coops are buyer beware.)
