I had used nickel coils previously and would put coils in much more often bit of a pain for me. The new vaporizer and tanks make the job easier and I'm using the Clapton coils, I have a Daedalus for putting on the outer winding, don't think I'd be able to do that by hand. I don't use much cotton since it seems to stop the popping and it's easier to remove the wicking. Staying with tobacco flavor means I can add a different tobacco flavor and after a few vapes the new flavor come through.

Finally ordered some. Should be showing up today. Got 100 ft of 22 gauge kanthal by Cloud Masters off of Amazon for $10.00 and paid an extra $10 for 2 day shipping. I'm OK with this since I've been paying $7.50 for 10 ft at the local brick and mortar. I'd say $20 for 100 ft over $75 for the same 100 ft over time is a pretty good savings.
