Rebuildable smelly

My rebuildables been getting some sort of smell, it vapes and tastes good tho. i think it might just be residue or something. Anyway can i just rinse it out with water?
Also, I wont do any damage if i clean my mech by dunking it in hot water right?

Without more info, I'd say the smell is coming from your juice in the rba. There shouldn't be a problem washing it in hot water. If the smell persists try soaking in alcohol (not rubbing alc) then rinsing in hot water.

As for the mech, there shouldn't be a problem washing that either. Just take out the batteries and make sure it's bone dry before using it again.
