I finally got the Calix wicked right...I think. Before I was kinda like meh, it tasted kinda like the Eviva-T with dry hits. I re-rolled my coil and cut it about a millimeter longer than the Phenomenon. when I puffed on it I had my juice control wide open and it flooded. I was so so happy. I closed down my juice control and the wakonda's flavor is coming through. I will post a pic of the wick when I empty the tank. Also it is kinda a bear to coil up. Initially I took the steel cup piece out and tried to wick it on my rose stand. No go. When I wicked it the second time I took the cup out and wicked it one side at a time running the coil out and the juice channel around to the post. Then I flipped it and did the same thing to the other side. Then I had to take a flat head and push the coil all the way over to the air hole on the far side. Then I pushed it down and lit it up a few times to make sure my coil was heating right. I also upped the coil size from 2.4 to 3mm. I didn't want to take any chances :D Before I got to about a 3rd of a tank on a 2.4 mm coil and it started dry hitting with the juice control wide open. This time it's a warm and flavorful vape. For now. I will take a pic or two to show my setup after I have it perfected. :D
I did the wick like qorax, wick is juiced to high heavens with the JC barely open. 1.2ish ohms, 2.5 ID, s p a c e d coil

Warm and tasty vape for sure, and I'm only using the bottom AF, although I tried a couple lungers with the DT AF open a tiny bit.

Definitely liking it so far, very enjoyable vape. I've got some Boss Reserve in there, but ill have to rewick and try the Wakonda that just came in the other day if you say it's tasting good (never tried it).

Shoes and jackets too ;)

Id agree with you on jackets/suits, here's today's navy blazer, Zegna Su Misura with my last name blocked with the Gus mech. Perfectly made to my body. Red lining like J Bond, everything down to the button I choose. Date made etc. Shoes though, I like English, Lobb and/ or Greene.

You were right. I did it like everything else and over stuffed it with cotton thinking it was a Prometey. I cut my cotton down by 2/3 and now I'm getting what your saying. I opened the juice control the same amount as before and it flooded and kept flooding until I just barely twisted it just like you said. I also reduced my coil down to a 2.4 and didn't fiddle with the wick. I just ran my cotton thru since I had way less cotton to try to force thru the coil. Yep less is better on a bunch of atomizers :) I got a 1.5 ohm coil at 19.8 watts and I'm enjoying life atm :D The Flavor is so dense and tasty with ANML's Looper it's insane :) I didn't show my last build BTW because it was wrong in so many ways :) Thanks for the insight!

Yeah, not very much cotton, moved very smoothly back and forth through spaced coil. I cut down my tails some and split them and put some around the sides like I saw in Q's pics too

Amazing how very little you need to have the JC open, like not at all, lol

Super tasty vape indeedlydoo

Nice haul sedge. Why the new bases? Are you holding out on us?

edit: I am pretty sure Aiolos is going to provide details like Lord on the Phenom rings eventually, as he has for Estia tanks.

Btw, I'm loitering here waiting for Q to link his new vid.
I wanted to try the OTHER two bases and compare them to the original.

Shoes and jackets too ;)
The best leather jacket threads can be found found over at The Fedora Lounge. The Italian's have some of the best tanneries who supply two Greek leather jacket makers who are at the top of their game. Carry on
Oh i picked up an Eviva the other day at the shop here.......nice and tastey :) and i have a couple more stops to make at the other shops especially now that the dollar is so strong.

Mtek.....if you don't mind waiting 20-24 months and the $$$ there's a leather jacket maker in WA i could direct you to, also a very fine bootmaker.

Got the Phenomenon Lite in yesterday and just threw a build in there. 26ga 8 wraps 1.1 ohm. Thanks to Qorax for the video, wicked it similar to that and it's performing excellently. Nice, warm flavorful vape. The draw is a little tighter (though not tight exactly) than I expected but I'm still loving it. Money well spent. Now to save up for another Gus atty
