Hi all -- well, I'm interested trying the V3 stardusts. I have had lots of luck with some non-rebuildable ones. Heck, I've had one that's been working for almost 6 weeks with just a few cleanings. I enjoy the vapor, TH, taste. Works great on my Twist. I've tried the Kanger T2...didn't like it.

So I figure the V3 might be the way to go. How do they compare with the old versions? Do they work just as well in anyone's experience?

Also, any places with deals on them? I order almost solely from altsmoke, but they're out of lower res heads (in the mid 2 range for my Twist)....and I am running low on EMDCCs. About time for an order.

Thanks!

I will have had my eGo Vision V3 Clearomizer for 6 weeks as of tomorrow (10/3/2012) and I'm still on the original head. I just rinse it out every other day to freshen the flavor and I've done about 4 dry burns to help improve the draw.

I did cut the long wicks back to about 1/2" (not as short as the short-wick version) and that seems to work pretty good.

On a side note, I've just ordered one of the new Kanger T3 to check out. Seems to be getting good reports on the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/337585-anyone-try-new-kanger-t3-yet.html thread.

I think the V3's are the best. They'll still fog and the tip will melt with the toxic juices but using only a bit of cinnamon in with my ADV Vanilla has been no trouble. Polycarbonate is the plastic they use for the tube.

Been taking out the silica wick, dryburning the coil alone, then re-inserting 1-1.5mm of cotton wick into the coil with great results (must fluff the wick in the coil) . Adds weeks and weeks onto the life of one 2-4 dollar head. I only use 2.8-3ohm heads and a medium length for the cotton wicks. Better flav. TH and vapour than silica imo. but it does need to stay wet and must be removed for the weekly dryburning.

Also only using one SD at a time, changing flavours is as easy as a quick rinse, dab the wick dry and refill with new flavour.
