Rebuilt my first mini nova head today

Well I am well chuffed with my bit self today, rebuilt an Aspire Mini Nova BDC and hit a perfect 1.8 on the old meter. 8 wraps of 32 AWG Kanthal on 2mm Silica per coil. Definitely a fiddly job but well worth it as I have saved some pennies doing this. Happy chappy!

I try to rebuild almost anything at least once. I don't actually use Aspire clearos, but I used to use and rebuild the original Vivi Novas.... yep....

I use mini nautilus with the BVC and just throw them out. I find they last long enough to afford a new one each time.

I seem to have had a bad batch of coils, time will tell how long mine last. Is the nautilus any good? Heard mixed reviews on it

I would say the full sized Nautilus with the BDC coils is pretty much a waste of money. (not the tank, but the atomizer heads...)

The mini with the BVCs are excellent. I bought 2 at Vapefest 2014 (Jason from Vape Escape actually bought them to the festival for me!!) and they are the best clearomiser I have ever used.

If you want the big one, you might just have to buy it, use or throw the BDCs and buy a 5-pack of the BVC.

Vapefest was 2nd August, that's 4 weeks tomorrow. So far I have used the 2 coils in the pack and one from my 5-pack of replacements. That's 5 in four weeks in two tanks.
So far, 100% perfect. Nothing bad to report at all.

Nice, Does seem that these duals burn up much faster than verticals. I might just try that vertical coil, see how it goes down.
