rebuilt Vivi Nova head - worked great

Hey all, I was curious about rebuilding the heads for my Vivi nova due to I vape dark sweet juice and the heads gunk up really quick (about 4 days). watched this video by dam718 (vaping with Dave) and decided to give it a try.

5 wraps with Kanthal 32 around 4 strands of 1.5 silica wick. 1st try worked perfect. (ohms were a little high for my liking - 2.7 - may try 4 wraps or Kanthal 30 next time)

I sis my first rebuild tonight too but mine was a protank head. 5 wraps of 32 gauge Kanthal over cotton yarn for wicking. Came in at 1.9 ohms. Honestly it vapes better than the factory one

If you want more wraps with Kanthal 32, try using a micro screwdriver 1.4mm to wrap around. 6-7 wraps is 2-2.2ohms.

Wrap tightly, then push the coil towards the screwdriver handle to compress it. Should make a perfect coil every time, without the fuss of screw threading. Feed the wick through after reassembling the head.
