i'm still a super-noob and still smoking analogs, so feel free to take my advice with a grain of salt.

- i don't have too much advice on the ego vs. ego-T, as i'm actually trying to make that same decision right now. we have a riva 510 SE from liberty-flights, recommended to us right here on ECF, and as far as i can tell [mostly from the hubby's vaping, i got really turned off by horrible juice and am smoking analogs until we get our next order in. more on THAT whole mess in a minute] but as far as i know it seems to work well. EXCELLENT battery life.

- almost every site that sells genuine joye [or whoever] hardware will say so in their product descriptions/on the site. there are some copycats out there, but in general, if it says that it's authentic it probably is. i never knew just how huge this industry was until we started looking into it.
it's like....let's say gaming consoles, because that's what i work with. you can buy an xbox 360 from xbox.com or from the microsoft store, sure. but if you go to best buy they will have not only the 360 but other consoles as well. but the 360 sold at best buy is still an official xbox made by microsoft. does that make sense? i don't know enough about this stuff to know if the copycats/knockoffs are any better or worse, but i think it's probably better to go with the name brand.

- juice: we learned this one the hard way. i know it's tempting to buy everything from one site [especially if that site has free or cheap shipping] but most hardware sellers do not make their own juices. you will get every answer under the sun on this one, as far as the "best" site/juices go, so i would just look around on some of the sites and see what you think would be good. after our disastrous first order of juices from LF, we did some research here on the forum and ended up ordering some juice from velvet vapors. we are EAGERLY [as in, checking the mailbox every couple of hours and kicking it angrily when it does not contain my juice] awaiting our order from them.

Send him a PM then or an email. He's really nice and I'm sure he'll take it off for you.

The drip tips you can use for dripping. Or you can use them on the cartomizer. The little soft caps on the cartomizer are a PITA to take on and off unless you have something like a binder clip handy. If you need to refill the carto, just take the drip tip off and add some juice.

got the 5 cartomizers, an extra atty, a bottle of some sort of menthol juice, and a drip tip which im still not exactly sure what that is other than a mouthpiece. Oh and that coupon code didnt work but thank you all for all your help
A drip tip has a few different uses...

You can use it on a cartomizer so you don't have to take the end cap off to refill all the time.
Or you can use it on an atomizer to replace the cartridge so you can "drip" without having to take a cartridge off all the time.

As a bonus, they are usually a LOT more comfortable than sucking on the cartridge or cartomizer.

This thread describes what dripping is...
