Recessed button mods with no lock ring - idea for safe pocketing.

The button (bottom) doesn't unscrew on a Workhorse. You would have to loosen the top cap.

The caps have landed. Fit is just about perfect. Takes just a tiny bit of effort to remove so it shouldn't fall off in your bag or pocket. The Workhorse can be fired with the cap installed. So, you don't even really need to remove the cap to use the mod while out and about. I don't think accidental firing would happen unless the perfect storm of circumstances occurred.

Now I just need 11 more recessed button 22mm mods.

If u don't have to take off the cap to use it what's the point? Does it make it really hard to use?

It does take a very concerted push to fire it with the cap on. Without the cap I can pinky fire the Workhorse with almost zero effort. With the cap, I need to use my thumb. I don't really plan on using it with the cap, it was simply an observation.

Big thanks to inswva for sending me out 3 caps, after frying the insulator on my kayfun when the recessed button on my MCR was firing in my bag, I needed something to stop it happening again.

These caps fit perfectly and no way will it fire by accident.

I have the Atomo and it has a locking ring so it really does not seem to fire on its own while in my purse or in my back pocket. The fire button on this one is also recessed. I have had no problems with it firing while even sitting on my desk at work without the locking ring extended.
