Simple recipe, num, num. 2/1 ratio Butterscotch and Irish cream

for 10 mls @ 24mg

48% 50mg PG nic = 4.8ml
20% VG = 2ml
7% PG = 0.7ml
1% PGA = 0.1
3% H2O = 0.3ml
14 % Butterscotch = 1.4ml
7% Irish Cream = 0.7ml

Yummmm. Can I ask what brand flavorings you use? Is it FlavourArt? I will not rest til I make this.:)
:offtopic: BTW, did you used to have a polar bear for your avatar?

Edit: NM, I found it. FA/Cap

Yup!

You will not rest after you make it either LOL. You can increase/decrease the flavour %, just maintain the ratio. I am now at 16 and 8 (and will remain there. Reduce the % increase from the PG :)

The reason the IC can't be found at Loranns is because it is spelled Irish Creme instead of Cream and it's under the Chocolate candy flavorings category. I had to search for just the word Irish before it came up for me. Thanks again, I'm on it.

Good for you go for it. I think you might have mis-read something I posted. I only use FA flavours if I can help it, Lorans second Capellas third etc...

Well, I actually read your original thread in the DIY section, and I think you mentioned that you used the Capella because it wasn't available in the FA -- oh, IDK, my head is swimming right now. I've been over in the DIY for HOURS last night and HOURS today, as I'm going to go into this full steam next week. This week is to get the education and to place my orders. Next week I'll dive in, but it won't hurt to mix up the Buttery Nipple to vape while I'm mixing away will it?:D

Also, I remember the great debate you and some dude had (some time back) over the mixing with 100mg vs. mixing w/50mg. OMG, that was the funniest thread. You won, though.;) You were a polar bear then, though, LOL.

There are two things I take very seriously:

  • batteries, battery safety; and
  • rolling your own
There is absolutely nothing wrong with using 100mg flavourless liquid, provided you know what you are doing, and why you are doing it. Folks thought they would be saving money, they don't as the cost per mg is pretty much flat across the board, and cutting it to lower levels cost more in the long run.

IIRC this was soon after the announcement on the stay of Judge Leon's ruling, where everyone was flocking to the DIY section and were going to stock up in case of a ban. Many had unrealistic expectations and were going to order large quantities at the highest mg they could find. These same folks had not yet cross the road into DIY, so yes I was a little apprehensive. Some were even thinking of ordering 99% pure nic from China because it was relatively cheap, not for one second thinking about the dangers associated with that, or folks buying high concentration of liquid and then hitting the forum with: Now what do I do?

I know someone who vapes 2-4mg, yet the individual uses 100mg for his mixes. Is it overkill? No. Why? because believe it or not he needs 100mg for his custom blends. When dealing with the lack of satisfaction of low nic liquids often complex flavour/ing are used as well as unusually high levels of VG amongst other things. Using lower concentrations is not suitable because it comes at the detriment of the flavour and vape satisfaction. Although this particular individual could buy 150mg, he doesn't, as 100mg meets his mixing needs. He also orders moderately e.g 30-60ml at a time. Why? Because it last a long long time. That is a responsible DIYer, and he does caution folks wrt to using high concentration nic liquids.

In closing there is absolutely nothing wrong with roll your own, providing you understand and know what you are doing and why you are doing it. To do it because it is cheaper, hell no. To kit up is expensive, making your own liquid is expensive. What you do get is a liquid that meets your needs. A liquid that will be consistent every time you make it etc... because it is your recipe.
