I just hit the local Asda and bought a few bottles of their 'own brand' food flavourings, as follows:
Rum, Lemon, Almond, Strawberry, Pepermint and Vanilla Extract - the Vanilla has slightly different labelling and is marked 'extra special' so I guess it's more concentrated than the others.
The 'Base' liquid I have at the moment is Totally Wicked, tobacco flavoured, (18 mg nicotine) - cut with Glycerine BP, ratio is 2 parts glycerine to 1 part TW.
I've only tried this mix with varying amounts of Lemon and Rum so far and it's pretty good - nice and sweet with a nice 'kick' and lots of vapour.
Can anyone advise any me of any specific recipes that would suit the flavours above.
Also, I think I need to add a little alcohol to the mix to thin it a little, how much 'proper' booze can I add to get the correct viscocity, without risking a drunk driving charge ............?
Cheers
Barry
PS - I'm trying to get away from the tobacco taste - a taste and smell simialar to some of the old time UK aromatic toboccos would be nice - the one I remember as being nicest was called, IIRC, 'Sweet Briar' - I think there were others.
