Recommend me a budget RBA

I'm about to buy the pheonix rba and set it up on my 5v 510 passthru with SS wick. My budget is $30, anyone have a better idea? I want a glass, tank style rba.

Igo-l is a better Atty built better looks better easier to setup.

Also the phoenix v3 same built better looks better.

Both are easy to set up for beginners, and both use pyrex tanks. Really, you cant go wrong with either.

Yes. That passthru is actually quite powerful.

That is a very nice looking RBA tanks system. And for that price, it will DEFINITELY be the next one I buy. Much nicer-looking than the AGA-Ts. And it looks bigger too, which means there is more room for working on the coils and wick, which is nice...

I like my AGA-T2 a lot.

It has a few quirks, but I got it for around $15 locally during a sale.

It's worth the $22 it currently costs.

The only problem I have with suggesting a Chobra to a new RBA user is that they can be a bit frustrating to set up as your first one, due to the fact that the wick hole not being insulated. This can, and has for many new people, cause major frustration: "wrap, wrap, wrap, POP. "wrap, wrap, wrap POP.......?! what is with this crazy thing?! <....I've seen this scene play out more than once

Another draw back of the Chobra is one of bad top cap design in that it uses a threaded top cap, rather than a friction top. We all know that QC standards are not all that wonderful in some of the Far East shop. It's luck of the draw if your air hole will like up with you wick. Of course, there are ways around this (drill a new hole, use a couple of o-rings over the threads to create a ghetto friction cap), but some new people would just say screw it at that point

This is not to say that I dont have a few Chobras in my collection, but out of all my genni style RBA, those gather the most dust. Just not my favorite.

Someone else mentioned the Igo-L...awesome RDA, for beginners and pros alike. Dollar for dollar, probably the best budget RDA out there right out of the box. I like to drill my air hole on those out to 1/16. They can really rock if set up with a nice coil. Great suggestion.

Chobras are not a bad choice, but i do not reccommend it to a beginner. Not because of the uninsulated wick hole, though - that is not neccessarily a standard feature in a genny. It is because everything is so small and you have very little room to maneuver. Fill hole needing a needle is also a minus in my book.

However, once you get an AGA-T2 running perfect, a Chobra on a Twist is a pretty darn slick/ hard hitting rig.

One of my best rigs the last week has a been a AGA-T2; 28g 500 @ .8Ω on a k100 (filled with Timeless Vapor's Creamy Ry3). The entire setup cost < $65 and has been performing way above it's paygrade Clouds of vapors hanging around the house like a low rolling fog.

I love the igo s and the new igo f get tons of vapor and are really easy to set up
