Recommendations for a good menthol vape

My analogs of choice up until I recently started vaping was Marlboro menthols. I know from what I have read here that finding that true menthol vape is somewhat elusive. I tried the menthol from Tasty Vapor and it is ok...but a bit too sweet for my tastes. So before I start spending time and $ trying a bunch of different places, I wanted to ask if anyone had any recommendations on menthol juices for someone who liked their menthols. I'm sure I'll start looking at other flavors soon enough, but since I'm still new to this, I'm happy just to have something close to my usual analog tastes until I feel that I am ready to leave the analogs behind for good.

So if anyone has a recommendation for a particular juice, or a specific mix to get a good menthol vape, I'd love to hear about it. Or would going with a standard tobacco juice and just hitting it with a sliver of menthol crystals be the way to go?

Check out some of the reveiws of the menthol vapes sold at E Cigarette, E-Liquid, Stop Smoking Aids - Vapor Station - there's a dedicated forum for it in the registered suppliers sub forum, and Ive seen reviews of his tobacco flavored/menthol stuff in ELiquid reviews as well. Im not a menthol fan so I havent tried ANY menthols but VsVapor does some really good juices (I have his cafe sumatra which is a gourmet coffee type flavor) and you might find something that tickles your fancy

I've seen a few posts that swear by Halo's menthol (think they have 3 to choose from). I really like menthol/mint myself so checked their site last night and think this might be where I start.

I like the Nuport juice that V4L sells. I've tried about 7 others and the Nuport is by far my favorite.

I just recieved 'Virginia Menthol' from vaporbomb today and really enjoy it. I've smoked analog menthol's for years, and so far I think this one is a good match. It's a good menthol, but also has some a little tobacco taste. I've tried a couple other pre-filled menthols that just taste like mint and didn't really care for them.

We have a winner, perfumers apprentice uses menthol crystals to make their flavoring which when mixed with PG/VG provides a true menthol taste and cooling effect, you can add a little tobacco flavoring if you need to as well.

I am a former newport smoker and love adding menthol crystals to any menthol or menthol mix liquid. Works great!

I use Totally Wicked's Decadent Vapours menthol flavoring. They claim that it is 50%..

"No holds barred - our flavour concentrate is the strongest menthol liquid on the market. 50%w/v menthol crystals dissolved in a PG base. Use very sparingly! "

I am pretty sure that my first batch was 3 drop per 10 ML of PI unflavored mix and I found it quite suitable. I have been as high as 9 drops per 10ml, and that is just overkill.

It tasted very much like one of those 'star mint' round peppermint candies. The person that I was mixing it for still thought there was something missing. Yeah, the burning tobacco. A couple of drops of the DV chocomint gave the flavor a little bottom end, and she liked it.

I was on a menthol search for the last 2 months. this is what i found.

Vermont Vapor Cool mint is my favorite. its icy and minty like an analog marl or parl menthol. its got a sweet spearmint taste and produces a large TH and vapor.

i also use V4L's peppermint wow juice, also VERY good.

these are my 2 go to menthol/mint flavors.

BTW, these are menthol juices without the tobacco flavor. I prefer a nice icy menthol bite with a good TH and large vapor cloud. that was my mission from day 1.

Vapor Station's flavor Seattle is awesome, it is my daily vape, in fact time to reorder. It is a pretty fair balance between a mild tobacco flavor and menthol; and if you're not into tobacco tastes I'd still recommend it! Comes off more as a menthol up front with a complex exit.

I mix my own menthol/tobacco blend. Want the recipe? ........ Well tough! I'm gonna give it to ya anyway!
For 30ml of "Mark's Menthol Mist" 18mg
I start with a 60mg in PG base - 9 ml
Then add VG thinned with distilled water at 5%
Thinned VG----------------------- 15 ml
Then I add "Tobacco Blend" in PG from Perfumer's Apprentice.
Tobacco blend-------------------- 5 1/2 ml
Then comes the menthol. I use the "Menthol Flavor Liquid" from Perfumer's Apprentice.
Menthol liquid-------------------- 1/2 ml
Then lastly and probably leastly I add about 15 to 20 drops of everclear (PGA) to the mix for a little extra kick.
I've had an ex-Newports smoker and an ex-Kools smoker tell me that it's the best menthol liquid that they've tried. ('course I don't know what they've tried.)

please do i am curious to know what people think. I do enjoy the Vermont cool mint. I would also reccomend getting a bottle of menthol drops and adding it to a menthol that you already have that is just not strong enough. it will make it very icy and cool.

i also liked the marl menthol taste, not the tobacco taste but their menthol was a very cool and icy one. With that said, you can get a few different juices and blend a few to make your very own special blend.

I just tried Vaporstations Frost, it's a very nice premixed menthol with something extra I can't put my finger on.
