Don't think anyone has mentioned the Nanos by MMV, its not a tube inside of a tube telescopic but can accommodate all battery sizes

I actually just found out about the nanos and there are actually some super affordable ones. Or so it seems.

I can't seem to figure out how the sizing works though? There's the nanos and the nanos extended and. I dunno. It's confusing for me.

Well, firstly thanks for the invite. Your 'requirements' are not overtly conditional - in fact many of us tend to go ahead in our shopping sprees with exactly those concerns. Heck, it's my money and I'd definitely like to purchase the best to my liking won't I?

However remember, with most hi-end stuffs you are not only buying a quality product - but also a life time of support. And the icing on the cake is when the modder is himself directly accessible. That's one of my main criterions when I go buying. The second being - "it bloody well should be a 'cool looker', then the accessible factor could be waived!

I own a lot of mechs. And an equal Nº that I tried or used. Btw, I own many nice regulated ones as well. Thus, I can bit of speak from my experience. For a non-headache mechanical experience, besides they being top-quality, I'd recommend the following modders:

1. GP Paps, by Perseas & team (ECF)
2. GUS, by Aiolos brothers (ECF)
3. GG, by Imeo (ECF)
4. By Leo, by Billie (ECF)
5. Super-T, by forcedfuel50 (ECF)

*No order of priority above, just a list

The foregoing is due to the simple fact that all those above are readily accessible thru this very forum, as well as many other channels. Besides their range being genuinely good, rock solid devices, they also come with a lifetime of support. Which is time tested on these forums. Drop a line in their threads - and the issue is taken care of in a jiffy (if at all there's one) - and that either by the modder himself, or thru a truckload of knowledgeable members on those threads!

a) GP Paps: They have all, from 16mm (Piccolo) to 22 (Paps SS & Paps LUX), 23mm (Paps-X), including Titanium (TiX). No telescopic mods here, but either tubular (Paps range) or sectional (X range). And they are top notch. The Paps is also one of the smallest (length) mods out there (not talking about the topless-bottomless 4Nines &/or Hot Rod, and the Stingray-X), but at 59mm in 18350 it is pretty sleek.

b) GUS: They sell both telescopic as well as tubular mods. And their telescopic mods are a craze in our community. Their "special range" (LORD, KISS and their variants) are a head turner. The only telescopic mods I own and can vouch for! Yes, they use a fuze as part of their circuit, but with a 12A one you are looking at a 0.3Ω build or above. Which is pretty cool. I am using them since two years now - and none have blown yet. My ESTIAs are at 0.3Ω and my Aquas are at 0.5Ω. That fuze is a nice safety feature, which actually works in our interest. Nonetheless, those fuzes can be easily swapped out with a tele-pin from the top cap most of our mods. I've a pictorial on that 'swapping' in my LORD thread.

c) GG: What can one say about these gr8 mods! They are here since eternity isn't it? Every serious vaper has been touched by a GG product at least once, if not more. And Imeo can be counted to fix it for you if ever a glitch does arrive (I'm yet to hear one). Yes, the GG is famed for it's pinky button, many might not be that keen for that form factor. But hey, they have now come out with the "Esterigon" - which is the softest topside firer money can buy! Pls see Todd's nice review on it, and Scott's (Igetcha69) to know more about it.

d) By Leo: They just make one mod, the bOd Mecha. It comes in three variants - SS and Brass in 23mm and one for 26650 batteries (The Atlas ~ I know it is not in your criterions!). But whatta nice and unique mod it is. The only top cap firer as of now, you may like to see my thread on it to know more. Well designed, well made and a top performer. And it is telescopic! All contacts are silver plated, and a craftsmanship unparalleled.

e) Super-T: Made in the USA, eh! A class apart series. Super heavy and super strong. I never liked their conical shaped switch sections (tho many love them) - but with their Simplicity range they do away with it and come up with the flat (more affable) switch design, which sit uniform with the mod. Best of the best ~ they are just a call away, at a place near you! The lowest possible turn around time if something goes wrong.

Pls don't get me wrong, I also like many other mods/devices (I do have others) and some of them are pretty sleek as well. I love my Stingray Black Copper and the Stingray-X ~ getting it's Black version too, the Black-X (Todd showed it briefly in this week's Vlog!), as well as my Atomo v2 and Sirius-II. Then there are the Glas, Mankos, JM Worker Carbon etc. in my wish list. But, they are all far flung - with a huge repair time, besides the cost of return shipping. And to add insult to injury, most of those modders never reply to you anyway!

So, take a deep breath and decide!
And sorry for this long post, but you asked for it ;)

Nanos Mixed | mmvapors.com

I would suggest you take a look at the Nanos from MMVapors. With the "mixed" version you can use any battery size. Use the longer tube for 18350 size, add one extension tube to go to 18500 size and add a second extension tube to go to 18650 size.
I have a Nanos and really enjoy it. It is very short, has low voltage drop, has a very classy switch design which uses the magnets for both the spring action and the locking action. You just flick the button 7mm with one finger while holding it in your hand to lock or unlock.

Oh oh someone who knows about the nanos!!

Couple of questions! When you talk about the extension tube, do you mean I have to buy the mod, and then buy extra extensions? Or is it more like if I buy the 18650 version, it'll come with all the necessary tubes?

Also if you're in the US, how much didcha pay in total to get t to your door?

If you purchase the 18650 "mixed" version it comes with all the needed parts for all three battery sizes.
This "mixed" version is 95 euros and shipping is 19 euros for a total of 114 euros. This will be around $157 US dollars or so. I purchased the 18650 "single" tube version which was a little less money, but I can only use 18650 batteries.
The Nanos manual linked below will explain all the configurations they offer.

I also live in North Carolina (Greenville) and the shipping to us is super fast. I get my orders from MMVapors in three days.

Curious what you ended up with, did u pull the trigger?

Welp. I'm currently stuck overseas for deployment, BUT I've decided on the Nanos by MMVapers. (I think I spelt it right). Tiny little guy with apparently a sick bottom switch.

In the end it came down to a super super fine line between the Nanos and the GUS Lord. (Most of the other suggestions were non-considerations because they were near impossible to lay hands on).

If the GUS didn't have that (IMO) annoying fuse set up in the positive post, I think I would have settled on it already (hadn't known about the nanos then).

The only real downside I can think of for the Nanos is that it's not a telescopic mod.

But hmm. I have a feeling I'm
Gonna pick up a GUS at some point depending on how much money I have

If you purchase the "Mixed tube" Nanos you get the same thing as a telescopic as it can be setup for any 18xxx series battery.

You know you can replace the fuse in gus mods with a nemesis pin?

^True. I referred that in my previous post too.

LORD Top-Cap Fuse Swap with other Pos Pins

Well many seem to be averse to the "Fuse" in the Gus Top-Cap and enquired whether it could be swapped with Pos Pins from other Mods. Yes absolutely, here's some pics...

Bottomline: Pretty much every mod's Positive Pin/Post (whether Telescopic or Straight Screw) can be put inside the Top-Cap of the Gus-LORD. They all seem to be threaded the same... same dimensions. And length doesn't matter since the Gus-LORd is a telescopic mod. You can thus screw it's bottom-body in to fit any Battery &/or Atty.

I hope that helped.

Oh I guess my main "issue" is really with a true telescopic mod, I can just have a single mod, and whatever batteries I want and I can easily swap em around.

With a sectional mod, I'll needa carry around the various extension sections, which I'm not a fan of because it's one more thing to carry, plus it's also additional points in the conduction path to get dirty.
