When I first started, 2 months ago, I used Breath Fresh. PLEASE stay away from this company. Great customer service but their equipment is horrible. batteries last about 3 weeks, their smat boxes don't always charge, and their pricing is way to high. I am with Smokeless Image now and cannot say enough positive about them. Great pricing, customer services is unbelivable, their flavours are very tasty.

And once you don't care about it looking like a cigarette, the Go-Go.

I was going to recommend the eGo-T low resistance type B, but I must admit that Go-Go looks awfully impressive. Still, I can't complain at all with my eGo-T LR. The juice and battery last all day for me, the amount of vapor I get is just sick, and I haven't had an analog in two weeks.

Understand that I haven't had any sort of ambition to stop smoking, nor any solid intention. I simply haven't wanted a cigarette. I see no reason to go back to analogs now. The transition from analogs to my PV has been effortless.

The eGo-T does have an available charging case, and is about the size of a cigar when fully assembled.

I am thoroughly enjoying the Mocha Lite juice from MyVaporStore. The other flavors there that I've tried have ranged from meh, not bad; to geez, guys, get some quality control! But I've got some 48mg juice, doublers and mixing bottles ordered and en route from TastyVapor. We'll see how that goes. I'll have a chance to give those a couple of weeks to steep while I vape out my Mocha Lite.

I just post this info in another thread and hope it helps you . . . .

FYI: Halo also offers the "G6" which is also a KR808 device and the one I'm using now - I really like the feel and size :thumb:- the beginer's set comes with both a manual & auto battery - In addition, they offer a 10% discount to ECF members and IMHO - have GREAT Customer service :thumb:. . . Just my :2c: . . .
You can find it here: G6 Basic Starter Kit - G6 E-Cig

Oh - and BTW, I also just order and am awaiting the Volt Pro set (extra "cartos", the "little Coloeful caps", and a couple extra batteries - gotta get ready when I find my WOW ! ! ! !) - seeing the really great sale they are having right now with the "Heatwave" 23% off and the newer PCC is included too . . . :D
You can find it here: Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Volt - Pro Starter Kit - Starter Kits

OH - and BTW, WELCOME to EFC ! ! !

+1 Bloog... they have good CS as well--even gave me a 10% discount that was a one time only and I had used just for asking. Blu has terrible CS rep and if you don't like it return it ASAP. So Bloog or Volt are good 808ds with good reps.

However, there is a progression to e-smoking and these tips may save you a ton of money.

HOW I DID IT: (like many people)
1) Ordered many batteries, pccs from Smoketip (which sucks)
2) Thought I will NEVER refill my own... spent a fortune on cartos from ST
3) ST screwed me and sent me 30 blank cartos out of 40 and refused to refund me and almost make me smoke real cigs
4) sampled tons of flavored cartos
5) ordered tons of liquids some I don't like
6) ordered lots of carto blanks which I hated
7) reording good stuff from Bloog

So lots of money wasted!!

My TIPS! : (if you don't want Blu)
1) Get 808d-- get Bloog (I recommend) or Volt (good reviews) starter kit
2) You want a company that has equipment, cartos and blanks if possible, even juice
3) Try it out....
4) UNDERSTAND that to toss your cigs away you will ALWAYS have to have enough batteries, chargers and a personal charger for parties and maybe even a car charger... and ALWAYS be prepared with enough cartos and a bottle of emergency juice in case your shipment gets messed up; UNDERSTAND that people like me are okay with having a lot of 808d batteries around while MANY others migrate to larger units because changing out batteries gets old to many people
5) Try some cartos say from Bloog and SAVE the empties
6) You are 90% likely to eventually fill your own and save MASSIVE money... get 1 bottle of juice to save for an emergency and try it out...
7) So as you like it you can start accruing quality batteries and chargers from your go to company... try new flavors... collect a huge bag of good empty cartos... and start playing around with juice

So Progression:
get starter kit/cartos
you like it: save cartos, order more batteries/pccs/juice/more cartos... learn to fill your own... TOSS CIGS OUT
you don't like it and think: WOW! this is kind of a pita to have 4 808ds constantly charging.... maybe I'll get larger battery kit
get model with more power than 808ds... cartos/juice...

So this progression should save you some money and heartache rather than buy $200 of 808ds (which I like) then wish you had bought an ego/rivera or something with a larger battery FIRST

And ALWAYS save your blank cartos as you really will probably be filling your own soon...

officially sent back my blu today haha. Liked it a lot but wasn't pleased with the battery life, and the cartomizers seemed to get a burnt taste after just a few hits. I'm looking at the KR808 but the volt has almost no flavors in stock and the V4L site leaves something to be desired and is a bit confusing..

anyone else know of anything not already mentioned?

I started out with the Blu also, but sent it back during the 30 day trial due to battery life and cartridge/JC liquid flavor -but I did keep my used cartos, cleaned them with hot running water, then re-filled them with my own liquids. Next, I ordered a 510 kit, which I love the flavor, quality, and vapor of -but quickly found out that once I exclusively started vaping that I needed a larger/stronger battery, so I ordered a Joye eGo -decided against the tanks for now cause of all the possible issues with the tank system. I can use my 510 Boge cartomizers on my eGo, and I also ordered some blank cartridges with some blue foam cause I like the fact that the carts w/foam OR polyfill are easy to clean, easy to fill, & easy to change flavors with. With a couple eGo USB passthroughs and a USB car adapter/charger, you never have to worry about having a PCC cause the batteries will last you all day long! :) It is so fun to try different e-liquids from different vendors when you fill your own. :) Happy Vaping!

I have a 3 piece 510 with PCC which I liked at first...but poor battery life, burnt atomizers and filler and constant leaking sort of turned me off to it. I moved on to the G6 from halocigs.com which is a KR808D-1 next generation technology e-cig and I LOVE it. It's a 2 piece set with excellent horizontal coil cartomizers with a tapered soft tip that is easy to refill even for a beginner. The kit comes with the best instructions out there that tells you not only how to refill cartomizers but how much liquid to use. The quality is high, customer service is incredible and shipping is fast. This e-cig does NOT leak, puts out way more vapor than the 510, is a smoother vapor and it tastes better, too. The G6 actually is pretty comparable performance wise to the eGo where vapor production is concerned. I get up to 6 hours on my G6 battery and never less than 3.5-4 hours. The newest KR808D-1 e-cigs are the best small e-cigarettes you can get at this point.

Really enjoying all the information. I ordered a South Beach deluxe kit and the battery life is fairly lousy. I've kept all my empties though. I think I'll send it back before the 30 days is up, and eat the cost of the carts. Unless I can use them with a new system. So I'm looking into the e-Power 14650 now. Are there known discounts from trusted sites out there? Or should this be a different thread?
Thanks to all for the good advice I've seen in the short time I've been here.

thanks for the e liquid suggestions! I got the volt with watermelon / tobacco / blank cartomizers with a coupon code; super cheap! :) Very excited for fruit flavors and testing different liquids.

edit: I also believe the light nicotine level I used in my Blu for a week helped me cut down on smoking a bit.. I went from ~15 analogs a day to around 5 since I returned my blu (less when I was vaping). Very nice!

Try Liberty-Flights.com (they list a discount code on their site - 20%). You can also search for the "coupon codes" thread. They also have the e-Power 18650 model. It costs a little more, but the battery life is double (and probably overkill :)).

Just got my volt today: here is my 20-hit review:

so much better throat hit than my blu. Vapor seems about the same (which was pretty good) but the overall feel is a bit different. the volt seems more intense.. more real if I could say that. The volt does seem a bit heavier than the blu, but I'll take that for a stronger battery. Vaping Watermelon right now and love it! super delicious. I do have one concern: my mini usb end on my pcc charging cord seems a bit.. rusted..

the cord works fine and I can pick one up online for cents.. would that be better than dealing with a return on just the cord? or am I being crazy haha.

You'll have no problems with SI if you choose to return it, they really stand behind what they sell.
When I had to return an item they covered all shipping cost and provided the packaging.
