vaporshark DNA 200. going to cost you abit though. those cheap ones usually require dual 18650 and external chargers. I really suggest getting one with dual 18650 and the external charger. the thing with USB charging is that it may harm the battery and reduce its life span
oic.. thanks for the info.. cause i was thinking kinda troublesome to take out and charge.. im too used to plugging my samsung cable to every electronic devices i use. hehe. guess i just get those with external charger..

hi guys, so i just got a 2nd hand xcube2 160w with a battery and a billow tank with 2 sony 18650vtc4 batteries and a nitecore i2 charger from a friendly guy , been doing research on fake and real batteries but still not sure if its real or fake, my question is if its real , do i charge the batteries when it reach 20%? as i read online that if drain till too low then start charging will damage the batteries? and what do i have to take note when charging using the nitecore i2 charger? also where do i get another spare batteries? did search and fstoplight seems like a good place to get but doesnt open today :( lastly im testing the device on my subtank mini 0.5ohm 16-18w currently but i still have a tvf4 mini that i havent test on.. is it safe for the batteries to vape at that kinda low voltage? sorry guys for such a long list of question i did search around the forum and i understand batteries precaution is important so i kiasu ask more.. please dun flame me and thanks in advance for spending your time reading and explaining to me.

cheers! happy sunday!!

Real or not I have no comments.
Usually on 18650 I would charge at 50% roughly around 3.7V instead to minimise the effect of battery charge cycle.
Nothing much to take note, I suppose you should grease the slider with singer oil or something before use as they are usually quite rough.
fstoplight or any other tactical shops should have them.
yes its safe due to buck circuit(something to google if you want to learn more)

Congratulations on your mod mate. Advised dished out have been spot on. When you have the time, do read up more to address any other concern that you have. Here's a site for you to get started:

Battery Safety and Ohm's Law - onVaping

Locally, I'd recommend getting the LG HG2, HE4 or the Samsung 25r. These batteries will work a treat for ya. They can be found locally at FstopLights or you can get them online from a reputable vendor. Good luck!

Well for me personally I use a nitecore D4 smart charger, so it actually recognizes your battery and use different voltage and stuff to charge it.

Using LG HG2 myself too, charging time from 15-20% to 100% takes about 4 hours, but it's been two days since ive charged and it still has more than 50% life.

Anyway, to the guy who recommended IPV4S in silver, there is no IPV4S in silver. Silver is the IPV4.
And IPV4S has no charging board, while IPV4 is. IPV4 is a hell of a failed product, charging board short circuits and spoil your whole mod.
Thats why they stopped producing IPV4 and came out with IPV4-S.

Pretty sweet mod, using it myself, but I really think the S behind stands for Stupid.

thanks guys for the recommendation , will head out soon to buy a spare set of batteries, btw encountered something weird yesterday with the xcube 2 , was using subtank mini with rba coil of 0.55ohm and it reads 0.57ohm on my eleaf istick, stick it back to xcube2 and it reads 1.2ohm.. device asked if its a new coil, tried to click no but doesnt allows me.( keep spamming no a lot of times but they just keep re-prompt. ) so in the end click yes.. ended up the ohm up again.. now it reads 1.4ohm.. tried to adjust it manually but lowest it can allow me to adjust was 1.25ohm.. gave up and continue vaping on the istick.. then tested it back on xcube2 it reads 0.79ohm.. pretty weird.. also tried on a ud bellus tank with ti coil inside which he built it at 0.2ohm if i remember correct after bought off from a member here.. was testing on his d2 and works well.. so went to smok website to purchase the unlock version of ti mode. set the coefficient to 0.0038 and 250degree Celsius and start vaping for a while and it keeps showing temperature protection after 1-2 seconds of firing.. decided to not risk as im not really a fan of ti so i dun have much knowledge on it . but dragging on that bro's device for 5-7secs also has no problem.. any expert can advise? will do more research on it as was tired traveling around yesterday to pick up my goodies :D

thanks in advance ;)

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I also had my resistance fluctuating last time on both my TFv4 and wotofo troll RDA.
All I did was make sure my coils were coiled properly, screws were tighten and that's it.

idk you could also lock resistance
Yeah I've been having this. Tighten screws. And for (new build) coils, them ceramic tweezers to properly squeeze the coil together after firing. Also, give the 510 connection a good wipe once in a while.

i couldnt find how to lock resistance on the xcube2.. hmm.. just found out that my vtc4 was fake, wanted to get LG chocolate or vtc4/5 in the end got the efest batteries.. the shop only left with that.. the rest all sold out... wonder what to do with the fake batteries.. are they still a 18650? is it safe to vape those fake batteries on low watt like 17ish?
