I had a friend, who refuses to learn the basics of rebuilding and coiling and practice on it, went ahead with a Zeyphrus, and is regretting it now. Busted his occ, and spent a whole day trying to rebuild and wicking and kept failing.

Zeyphrus is 2 coil, not sure if you can make it singles. I would suggest you practice on a subtank mini until you're comfortable then get another.

Well, when you upgrade after the subtank, the subtank can be your backup tank in case your new tank gives problems.

Tks for the tip ta2f. Any suggestions on a tank that does not need any building for starters cos i was under the impression rhat UD zephryus comes with a prebuilt occ

Now most tanks comes with regards built occ Heads. Some replacements are easy to find and some are a pain to get. Kanger and tfv4 are easy to find. Whereas aspire ones are tougher.

So look through youtube, or gather from the forum posts. Most of us here who suggest a particular tank are used to rebuilding on it. So cant really tell if it's God for beginners. Like people who swear by goblin mini, and I swear by tfv4 (mini). Haha.. it's pretty biased.

So look up, see the design, and how it is rebuilt. If you want more input and clarifications, fell free to ask around.

Ok guys i think i have narrow down my choices to the following:

1) UD zephryus
2) Uwell Crown (supplier cant get any)

Lets hear your views on the following mods which im considering:

1) IPV 4S
2) Koopor Mini 60W
3) Smok Xcube II
4) IPV mini D2
5) Evic VTC Mini

My vow will be evic with zephryus

First of all uou must understand that dual coil is really not juice friendly. Zypherus is really a juice monster be it the occ or rba deck.
In terms of flavour, i think STM if wicked and coiled properly will give u good flava and ok cloud too.
I can coil a stm pretty well and i have no problems with zypherus but when im coiling the rba for tfv4 single coil, the odd angles give me problem too.
For your considerations.

Haha. If only i could get a goblin mini to experiment on. I did took a look at uwell crown and its setup for a rba is simple and straight forward but however cant get any locally.

Looks like from the majority of feedback given here, kranger subtank mini would be a good base to start and learn modding before advancing to more advance stuff. Or i could get both subtank mini and ud zephryus?

Hmm, having gone through like 17~18 odd tanks, i would say the uwell crown would be a better starting point.

It has a similar RBA deck as the STM and it's SS occs give a really clean taste.

Top or bottom filling, good airflow and holds a decent amount of juice.

Vapor production and flavor is better than the subtank and just as easy to rebuild on.

Only downside is that the RBA deck is sold separately.

As for me, my current FOTM tank is the UD bellus. Vaping on it all day.

Did you experience severe leaking with the Crown when using the top fill? I have no problems with the bottom fill but top fill, im going nuts finding a way to stop the leakage..

If you're a beginner...get the subtank or the crown. Both are relatively easy to rebuild and wick.

If you're intermediate, try the Kayfun lite or Kayfun Monster v2/3. You can move on to dual coil tanks too, the billow v2 or the bellus. Personally prefer the bellus over the billow for flavor hands down. However it does leak on initial fill sometimes if you don't get the wicking right.

Once you've mastered all those subohm tanks...time to get a genesis. The Nextgen is a killer flavor machine. Might not be the most intense flavor, as you will only run it 20-25w, but it will show you the world of a clean, crispy taste that is unparalleled. It may be intimidating to build but once you got it right, it's right all the way man.

I personally use the Kayfun Monster with a flat bellcap and the bellus, both with claptons. I use my Nextgen the most though.

Evic vtc mini is a good starter kit.. 75W with the option of temp control.. Its built to last and has upgradable firmware.

As for tanks i started with the subtank mini which is easy to rebuild with the help of youtube videos. Afterwhich i moved on to the UD goblin mini dual coils, which is a b!tch to wick but the flavour is top notch!
