Don't the kayfuns etc need low resistance wire too? and if i recall there are 7 pieces to assemble them?

I have never tried one - i have used killers before and that's bad enough.

I thought I had seen an rba somewhere that had little springs instead of screws. Does anyone recall seeing this one? If its not a bottom feeder I could try to convert it I guess. I'm sure I saw one somewhere....

No non-res wire required, just good ol' kanthal. As far as peices, I only tear it down this far for cleaning/rebuilding.

As I recall, instead of any screws/nuts it had a tightly wound spring pointing up like a post that would just pinch the coil end wire when you were putting a new one on.

I can't recall any dripping or bf style attys that use springs. There are plenty of gennys that use springs. I wouldn't think it would be that difficult to modify one.

And great looking batch Cappy!! Giving me some good ideas for other wood choices.

Greeting all, back from the dentist for a bit now, can't really talk but me typing hands be fine!

He seemed to have a ..... of a time getting #19 out and it hurt this time too. Not a pleasant time but I'm glad it's over and I have some antibiotics to kill the infection. First time my face was swollen too....I'm afraid to vape.....sigh...

Glad everything went ok Cappy. Have a nice rest and don't vape to soon. My last tooth removal got dry socket from vaping the same day. Well a partial dry socket but it still sucked.

I am about to print shipping labels, time to ship the batch or they won't get out till Monday. Only a few desk caddies to do this weekend, so I should have some time to just relax and enjoy the weather.

All the snowbirds have come back so the roads are clogged with crappy drivers again, but you haven't lived till you seen a 90 yr old dude pull a U-turn on the expressway and start heading the wrong way, arrr

Speaking of snow birds, there was quite a flock heading over my yard as my mom, my brothers girlfriend and I were full auto-ing pears out of a tree with my airsoft gun. As I was busy scolding my brothers girlfriend for attempting to shoot them one pooped on my head.

That's what I get for sticking up for them. Though in their defense I was standing next to my freshly washed car, which they no doubt were aiming at.

Ok, all labels printed, what a nightmare. Paypal as usual crashed. This time I had a server error on all the overseas labels I tried. Reloading and reinstalling did not help so finally I had David try on his computer and he managed to get the rest printed.

Gonna kick back for a bit, then do these desk caddies that are pending.

The weather is really getting sweet outside, not too hot but still sunny. Gotta find time to start playing outside more.

Color me jealous!

It went from 65 and sunny to 40 and windy with snow flurries almost overnight.

It's Michigan though, probably 80 next week.

First dentist visit: 4 teeth lighter.
Second: 3 more
Last time: polish and clean (read sandblasts lips off and you're in the right ballpark).
Next: Dec 6th - this had better be Happy Xmas, but i doubt it!

I feel for anyone that has to endure that hour of staring up the dentist's nose in despair, but nothing will stop me vaping! After the 3 were removed i was on antibiotics too. To totally lower the tone of conversation (hehe) i just grabbed an old/disposable driptip and nose-vaped!
