Good morning crew!

I kinda miss the days when vaping wasn't everywhere... I mean, I'm glad more people are finding it, but... I don't know. It was nice being among a select few who really cared about it as a hobby if that makes sense?

I'd say we're still an elite few, just in a different way. I've seen dozens of folks with cig-a-likes and egos, and only one person out in the wild with a provari. Not counting my comitteeman with a reo though.

People whip the smaller ones out and no one bats an eye anymore, which is great. Makes it easier to explain that my RSM or tube I'm carrying is just a larger version of that. I still regularly get asked by some riff raff "Is that what I think it is? Can I get a hit?" with a mod, but it's certainly less than before.

Arrr, this is the current mess I'm trying to wade through. Two days already spent on them and it's gonna take another one or two to finish them all up. Guess that means the batch gets an extra coat of finish while it waits. Some of these need to ship asap!

Oh, you can see the two new models in the bottom center of the pictures. A medium and large version of a combination caddy for both boxes & tubes.

You made those multi-style stands too fast, I haven't gotten paid yet :p

They're looking good though :)

Yeah, I just had to tighten up the designs I already was working on and get a couple of them made. No worries though, they will be up on the website soon so whenever you are ready they will be there.

Yeah, the year seems to have blown by pretty fast. Today went fast too!

Caddies shipped and here's a couple pics of the new ones on the website.

I had a shop machine fatality last night. My hard working and trusty friend 'Bonnie' the bench sander gave up the ghost. It's pretty essential I have one so I was forced to go get a replacement for her. She shall be missed.

The batch is drying and I should be able to start building the ones that are dry enough tomorrow. Weekend shipping is looking iffy, but will still give it a try.

Arrrrr

Good morning crew!

I really dig the Jolly Roger on my cutlass DNA, I get a lot of compliments on it and that box in general.

Sorry to hear about your bench sander Cappy. I have an old black and decker power drill that I'll be heartbroken when it goes. It's heavy, rusty, loud and the reverse is broken, but I've drilled so many things with it over the years as my father did before me.

Ahoy!

Yeah, it's funny how we can get attached to tools. I had that bench sander the first month I started up this RSM madness.

The Cutlass with the Jolly roger is the first working DNA12 I had made. I've been using it as my main mod since then.

I finally have several sets of avatar/signatures I can start rotating through when it occurs to me.

Here is another glimpse of Batch #25 pre-orders. After looking them over I will have to give them one more coat of finish when assembly is complete as I am not yet satisfied with the finish, there are a few areas that need better coverage. Damn, it's already Wednesday, so 3 days of assembly (and they are a bit tacky still), then light sanding and a coat of finish, except I have to make desk caddies again this weekend, so ....... looks like next week is a more accurate estimated shipping time for the batch. Ah well, still within the 6 week max I give myself.

Also time to start thinking about opening up pre-orders again. Perhaps by this weekend.

Later all, arrr
