lol, well, I do vape cinnamon, perhaps I got a bit of juice on the cloth I wiped it down with? Possible .. I also usually put a heavy coat of Howards feed N wax on the desk caddies before they go out to help against juice spills. They are made from Cherry wood, kinda my standard wood for making desk caddies.

Desk caddies, no matter how big I make 'em, there are never enough holes for everything.....

lol! I'm kinda glad you did get some juice on it - it smells so good that I want to empty the caddy & just sniff it for a few hours! Lol New idea for a holiday promo: Cinnamon scented caddies & mods! :D

one thing I know is that cappy's addicted to cinnamon+menthol juice~ :)
Now the question is where do I get my hands on some of that juice.... :smokie:

I use Cinna-bomb from vaporbomb.com and Hypermint Menthol from bluemistvaping.com(?) cut 50/50, 80% pg.

Here is a quick look at some of the inlays and engravings, I'm still working on a couple others. They have not had final assembly or even final sanding yet, but still ...

Absolutely beautiful new batch you're working on now Cappy!!
What kind of wood are the second ones in each row made from? Love the inlay you put in the one on the bottom row, second from the right too! It's a real nice contrast against the curly maple. Also, l'm really diggin' the designs!

I've got one or two engravings I want to do yet, but they are about ready for final assembly.

Those two are Granadillo, very pretty and traditional appearing wood. Another one that pictures can't do justice to and show it off proper. Arrr

Brian, I checked out the line art. Now if you could come up with a nice horse engraving on Ebony, I might be persuaded to purchase another of your mods.

Google "horse" and select line art and you will see dozens, even hundreds of possibilities, I'm sure we can fine one you like :)

captain, from your top experience (and skill!!) enlighten me, what do you think of pyrography? is much better the engraving on wood?
thank's! :)

I have done wood burning, it can be extremely artsy, but I also know it is also very, very time consuming ... I don't think anyone could afford to pay me for 1 or 2 days of dedicated work on a single mod, lol

Arrrr, getting late, just kicking back listening to some old music. Funny thing about me and music, most people I know found one era of music and stuck there, stuff they listened to as kids, teens, or even later. For some reason I just kept moving along with the times with music, never standing still. Funny how my boys are mostly music illiterate, how did that happen? I am always listening to music. I used to play a mean guitar....sigh....

At least I got my oldest son turned on to symphonic goth/power metal so he listens to stuff I like too.

one of the many qualities of RSM is that they are executed entirely by the Captain, the unique and inimitable.
made from start to finish by the same brilliant artist.

.. careful guy's to go around in search of new mods, often the products are made by teams (one part gets another one, etc ...) and change the same team, everything is very commercial (and sells well),.. but i wonder, is really a article valuable?

Thank you, kind of you to say.

But, are there any assembly line wood mod makers left? I just thought there were a small handful of us still struggling to do our 'thing' in a world gone mad with metal. (how you like that turn of the phrase?, lol)

It's late, night all!
